We had 149 in person but some joined on zoom, think there’s around 120 pubs. We had 2 partakers, however 1 was not a brother but came for the 1st time.

There were quite a few new faces and inactive ones this year which was nice to see.

We actually had 2 usual partakers +the a new person who partook, so 3 in total.

We met at the Mira Loma assembly hall in Southern California with brother Kenneth Cook from the Governing Body giving the talk. I think we had about eight congregations and 1,500 in attendance. The total attendance wasn't announced, but it was a little more than half filled, and I think it holds about 3,000 maximum.

Why is it called a pink moon?

While it's named for the pink moss phlox, a wildflower that blooms in early spring, the moon itself won't appear pink. Just a name given. The full moon we saw had a nice color.

A brother from Warwick gave an excellent talk with illustrations and images on the monitors that we also could enjoy on Zoom.

I was anticipating a video from a GB with words of encouragement.  Hasn't that happened in the past?

There was a very nice Morning Worship, but I don't recall seeing a video during a Memorial talk.

I´ve always wondered: How do you get your attendants numbers so fast??? Who do you ask so quickly? Is it announced?

We (= congregation Reutlingen west) had our memorial together with 3 other congregations in the assembly hall. I know that those 4 congregations make around 450 - 500 publishers in total, but I have no idea about the total number of attendants. I saw the responsible brothers counting the people, but none of them was from my own congregation, so how could I have the number by the end of the evening?

I ask one of the brothers who's counting.. or the COBE. I just sent a text this morning and got my reply 😊

Question: I haven't researched it yet so please forgive me, but a sister in our congregation partakes every year, this year she is out of town but has confirmed that she partook. Is she counted as a partaker by her home congregation or the one she is visiting?

To whichever assembly a brother or sister belongs, that's where he or she must file the report. Those are the rules.

Many congregations have a form on the information board where the attendants write down the number of publishers present for each meeting.  this is collected by the secretary once a month to compile the congregation's records.  We use a digital backup but not every attendant has the app or knows how to use it.  A pencil is always available...♥️

The direction is to count the partakers at your location. Secretary handles figures and report. In the US, the branch encourages it be reported at the end of the memorial.

Previous poster noted that Brother Cook gave the talk in CA. They count him there, not in his home congregation.

This is sort of off topic but I didn't know where to place it. Would appreciate your thoughts, @Andrey

Ukrainian city Sumy... April 12, two congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses had the Memorial in this building. Everything went well. Just look what happened the next day after Russian cassette missile hit there... 😱😢

34 people were killed (including 2 kids), 117 injured (15 children).
