Samsung Note 10.1

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I currently use Google Nexus 7 with MoonReader Pro to study epub publications. Great to highlight and underline the desired text. Having said that, I still use the hard-copy of Watchtower to write in the margin some comments i want to share at meeting. I've been looking at the Galaxy Note 10.1 to do so. To the users of Note 10.1, how and where do you write comments? Can I use the the S-Pen to write on the epub? Or what program do you use with S-Pen to record your comments?

Your insight is much appreciated. :)

My daughter has the Galaxy and she uses moon reader pro.  When she underlines her comments, she tap and hold one of the sentences in the paragraph and it brings up a box it will have a tab that says notes, then it brings up a box and she writes her notes and hits save.  And the paragraph will have a mark to let you know you have a note for that paragraph.

You cannot write freehand in the margins of an epub as far as I know.

I use ezPDF Reader to annotate my magazines. Here is a pic I post a while back that shows how it might look....

With Mantano reader you can choose the drawing tool and make notes in the margins or anywhere else on the page of an epub file and then save the page with the notes. You can then call it up using what I think is called the "action menu" at the bottom right of the page and then choose "notes"

I prefer the Moon reader pro. It is made for lazy people who want the pop-up feature for Scriptures or other Content like in the KM. I tried Mantano and Ezpdf reader but the time to copy and paste Scriptures to notes was more than I had. By the time I got all that done for each scripture I lost the whole train of thought.  As for the pen option. I loved the feature in Expdf reader but my writing is so poor that to write small as needed to be in the margin was a waste of time because I couldn't read it. The only down side to ebub files is the look of the content being different than the printed version. The pictures are at times in the wrong place.

Hi Tilford. As you mentioned, sure like the convenience of M+R Pro.
