Middle East been in an outrage for at least 6,000 years. That is common over there. This outrage will have no impact how Jehovah's view BTG. Jehovah will attack the Harlot worldwide.

You are right Brother Glenn - Jehovah has an appointed time - and he will not wait for any man, woman or child and neither will he bring it forward because of world conditions. However I along with Brother Michael and many others can sense the change in recent attitudes ... even those outside Jehovah's organization know something is up. The world is marching towards calamity in a way it's never marched before.

Yes the rhetoric is certainly ramping up. You can see things moving under the surface of the matter. Things are speeding up. I would not be surprised if something majour happened by spring or summer this year.

I saw a show on netflix while I was at work. It was from a show Frontline. A reported got in with syrian rebels that were fighting against Isis. It was incredible. The rebels think of Isis as worse than dogs. Things are really going to from worse to worse.

The world seems almost in a fervor. They're fomenting trouble where there doesn't/hasn't been trouble, on every level. It's becoming obvious to ones who aren't even looking. A woman who worked with my daughter got a call from HH while she was at work. He said he watched the news and it was getting more and more obvious that something's going on. Something serious is happening, it going to all blow up sooner than we think and he's terrified. Said it's the end, it's the end, kept repeating it it to her. Eventually she calmed his as much as she could and hung up, it really shook her up. MD was able to calm her, able to share some scriptures about how it's true and how to survive it. How to have the right faith and could rely on Jehovah to help them, if the'd keep looking for him. Apparently some of his family are witnesses but he doesn't want to commit to any organized religion, sad.

I met this man today, he's a very nice man. And he looks lost. Sure hope he turns around and changes his mind.

Yes, poor dogs, being compared to those people.

I agree. Muslims don't like dogs at all. So to compare the people in Isis as lower than dogs wow.

I have seen this distaste for dogs several times in written articles.

Does anyone know why scenes in Iraq villages always show a lot of dogs running around?

Just curious.

Maybe Muslims take Re.21:15 to heart?

"15 Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and those who are sexually immoral and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices lying."

I do not want to sound, nor do I feel righteous, complaining about articles such as these being posted on this network. Lord knows we see enough of it, elsewhere, and before it is all said and done, we'll be aghast at the atrocities being screened, "for our viewing pleasure"?. I for one have a 32 inch TV, that is going to fatten my wallet, soon. Gonna have to git rid of it, before I put an item thru the screen. Getting to the point, you cannot watch a program, without being shocked at even the commercials.

Okay, off the soapbox, Miz!    :pistols:

I'm actually appreciative of the tidbits we get on this forum ... we have been without television from before the Convention last year and it's interesting that we are more intune with things happening around the world, both by having time for more study ... the urgency of the latest watchtower studies and from interesting threads like these that don't focus on the visual violence that the news focuses on.

Totally demonic!!! That's exactly what it is! I just found out about the burning and I'm absolutely horrified! First the beheadings, now burning alive practically at the stake!! I am horrified and sick!!

"Come quickly Lord Jesus!"

Today's text was so on time (as usual right?). All that's important now is Jehovah name. Things are really wrapping up!

If the nations get rid of ISIS, they may just start claiming "Peace and Security.". And you know what happens next.

They think they have everything explained with their 'Theory of Evolution.'. But it will be Jehovah that gives them the thought to get rid of BTG.

Wars used to be fought because of differences in political ideas. Recently wars are being fought because of religious differences.

I just heard a French (former ISIS, prisoner) talk on CNN.  He said while he was held captive for those 10 months by this insane group/ISIS, never did his captors speak about the Koran.  Never any verses to back up why they were killing people.   He said that their gain was not religion, nothing they did (mass murder) was religiously inclined.   Its all political.  That is what the man said.  Well, we all know who the ruler of the world is, and how he and his demons are working very hard all over the world to divide and destroy.  These people have no conscience whatsoever.  They kill children, babies, old and young, what do they care?  The media gives them attention because its a news story.    It's like having the SS all over again, and Pol Pot has arisen, the killing fields is the entire world!   Satan is the Pol Pot, of the entire world, he's the former and maker of the SS, he is the orginator of WW1 and WW2,  there's one more war, but he won't start it, Jehovah has hooks waiting to put in his jaw, and he will drag Satan and his hordes to that final abyss. Jesus has the key to the door, it will be open and down he goes, he and his demons with him.  Shut tight for 1,000 years.  Our aim is to stick to Jehovah, (he/she who endures to end will be saved) no matter who is doing what in the present system of things.   The worries, and stress, and all the Pol Pots of this world will be GONE FOREVER, or at least till the 1,000 years are up.  Am pretty sure that Jehovah will keep us all informed when those 1,000 years will be up.  He always gives us warnings before it happens.

I agree with the change of attitudes. The whole world is getting tired of religion. Jehovah will step in and get rid of BTG.

ISIS are seriously sick people.  The things they are doing are just unthinkable.

We know Jehovah has his day, but I don't see how this world can keep going for too much longer.  I realize we may have some years left here, hopefully not too many more.  Jehovah's Kingdom is needed!

SIs I agree with a Billion percent. They are doing things unthinkable. I wonder have anyone thought of capturing them and let them grow their finger and toe nails two inches long and pull them out with pliers and burn them alive? I bet they would not like it.

Back in September, Barry University, invited a local Imam to open the Interfaith memorial service for the victims of 9/11 terror attacks. Many of the students were highly offended that this Imam chanted several times "Allah Akbar" an Arabic-Islamic war chant phrase, at their Catholic University.

Through out the world this phrase is ominously used when carrying out their cowardly attacks of terror.

Political yes...but always with the same highly inflammatory religious Islamic rhetoric.

Although all the terrorist activity going on in the Middle East may have some of us thinking this could be the catalyst leading to the U.N.'s finally turning on BTG, the slave has continued to explain that the destruction of BTG will start with Christendom, not pagandom or non-Christian religions. This is where the "standing in a holy place" comes into play as seen here:

"What will signal the start of the great tribulation? ................In the larger fulfillment, the "standing" will occur when the United Nations (the modern day "disgusting thing") attacks Christendom (which is holy in the eyes of nominal Christians) and the rest of Babylon the Great." --- w13 7/15 pp. 4-5 par. 6

Actually it does not say that it will start with Christendom.  It says, "In the larger fulfillment, the “standing” will occur when the United Nations (the modern-day “disgusting thing”) attacks Christendom (which is holy in the eyes of nominal Christians) and the rest of Babylon the Great.

Standing in a holy place could mean different things to different people.  Christendom has what it considers to be holy but Islam has what it considers to be holy also.  Likewise, all religions think of certain things to be holy.

I feel that ISIS could be destroyed which would lead a lot of people to start saying 'Peace and Security.'  That is the time that the United Nations will declare on all religion included in Babylon the Great, Christendom, Islam, all of them at the same time.

This, of course, is just my way of looking at it.  Let me know if I am wrong.

It goes to show that university students aren't very smart

The actual term used is Allahu Akbar, which loosely translated means 'God is greater'.

It is not a war chant, but is a beginning phrase repeated four times at the start Muslim prayers .

The term is often shouted out as form of applause, or a way of agreeing with something said or even as a greeting.

The phrase might be used in consoling a sick or dying person.

Often it is repeated when a Muslim slaughters an animal.

It reminds them that 'God is greater' than any human or any human action, whether an act of terror or an act of mercy.

The statement is certainly true, God is greater, but a term best avoided.

They need to learn that Jehovah is greater, not some unnamed god.
