I'm sure Spanish will be included as well. This is great news.

This +1 many times!

I am looking forward to this, specially for my dad who doesn't understand much English and due to his illness (dialysis patient), can't do much to go out sometimes (he is still an elder but you know how this condition goes...). So it would definitely be nice to have something for him to benefit from of this wonderful provision from Jehovah.

I hope so!  I just started translation for a Spanish version on the English transcript from March, and it's so time-consuming!  I can't even imagine how much time it took to transcribe the English.

I think I'll wait and see before I do any more work.

But I knew Jehovah would provide this eventually; it's way too big a portion of our abundant spiritual food to be limited to just 1 language group.

It made me wonder: we will have retroactive official translations of October 2014 to April 2015 programs? I hope so!

Brother Let told on the first program that it would be on a trial bases. If the reaction were to be good additional languages would follow

I guess the reaction has been very good :)

Subscriu surorii Daniela! I mean I second sister Daniela's opinion. I'm pretty confident Romanian is going to be included. Some of the recent videos released in Romanian on our Web site were subtitled rather than dubbed which apparently sped up the release date of the localized video such as Romanian became a top 15 language in terms of video localization.

Right now on Roku, it's the 18th most watched channel overall.  It does change frequently; once it was in the top 3.

It's the most watched in the "religious" category.

Today we had Branch Visit Special Meeting here in Finland. All congregations in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finnish speaking congregations in Sweden were connected through video stream to meeting place. Over 22000 were attending live at morning, and many others viewed the recorded program this afternoon.

Anyway, it was announced in the talk that JW Broadcasting will get official translations starting this May. Language list included Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian and some 30 other languages, which was not revealed in this talk.

I wonder what will be other languages. :)

Yay, more Finnish people here! :D I was so happy to hear these news in the meeting! In our congregation some elders considered translating simultaneously the broadcasts  for elder people, but now there's no need for that!

Just a curiosity: what is the name of Brother representative headquarters that made the talk and gave this announcement?

Br. James Mantz was in Frankfurt last year at regional convention. I liked his talks very much.

on the subject: I'm pretty sure German will be among the translated languages. Once a month we have a "broadcast evening" in our hall, and one sister translates, but the brother who started to organize to whole thing told us that Selters mentioned that official translations would start soon, that was in March.
