Have you ever wondered, "What is the difference between a homonym and a homophone?"

The flea tried to flee while the bird flew up the flue because ET tried to phone home on the homophone?

Have you ever wondered why someone cries "Uncle" when they are defeated, shouldn't they call for Mom or Dad?

I thought they came from California. Thus if they said they came from Florida, they be lying, taz dey just California with water.

Florida is the east coast California, they even have their own Universal Studios and Disneyland. The oranges could be from Florida but you know how oranges are, they just told everyone they were from California to look cool.

The question was Have you ever wondered if Adam and Eve were short?

inferring that perfect people may be short and fat and after Armageddon we will all be short and fat.

They are not referred to short.........We calls 'em, vertically challenged in these parts.

Adam and Eve could have been overweight and under tall (horizontally and vertically challenged) by today's standards  and that could be the perfection that awaits us.

Have you ever wondered why there are 10 hot dogs in a pack but only 8 hot dog buns in a pack?

Funny, we were watching Father of the Bride with Steve Martin and there was a scene where he goes to the grocery store and rips open the pack of 12 buns and takes out four because the pack of hot dogs has only 8 and he refuses to pay for the extra buns.

Don't know why he was opening multiple packs.

I used this activity with my middle school math class to illustrate a common multiple.  They had to figure out how many packages to buy in order to have one bun for each hot dog.

Have you ever wondered how emotions fit into the theory of evolution?

When did self sacrificing love become a survival trait?

In the history of road building, one lane roads were by-ways and two lane roads were high ways. Ask a civil engineer - very different from a civil war.

I always wondered if the Civil War was the polite one?
