Updates to JW Library (iOS, Android, Windows)

So glad they are allowing stuff to go to your SD card if you want now, I had to delete a bunch of video's and publications because the app became buggy when I downloaded everything I wanted.  Hopefully this will fix the problem.

Have anyone heard that you can underline or highlight verses in the Bible? If yes, how?

Not yet....

I was looking to upgrade my Micro SD card. I only have 2 GB

Amazingly I see that there is a  128GB Micro SD card for my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0

The ad says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will work with it.  :backflip:

I think I'll go for it, since the JW.org & TV are loading us down with all kinds of videos.  :)

That card is very expensive. I see others at $49.99 So be sure to Google search for the best price, and check out their warranty.

That ad had a link for Samsung cards, so the  Samsung type is specifically noted.

Wow! That's quite the SD card!  I always check Staples first because I get free shipping and can use my staples rewards for purchases.  Not many people know that they sell just about everything on their website - even dogfood!  They will do a price match too if you find it somewhere else for a cheaper price but want to buy it from Staples.

Be careful!

GSMArena.com shows that the Note 8.0 only supports 64GB.

"Card slot microSD, up to 64 GB "

SD card compatibility and reliability can be finicky at the best of times, using off-brands only multiplies the problems.

I've seen a couple halls with "defective" music players, where the players remained "defective" even after it was replaced. In nearly every case, the brothers had went with the cheapest card they could find, and swapping to a reliable brand fixed all the problems.

Thanks. I have 3 Android tablets and only 1 gives me the SD card option.

Downloading to external SD Cards works on my Samsung Note 4 which runs android 5.0.1.

Maybe its the android version, as android 4.4 disables use of the external SD Card.

I suspect the JW library software developers checked for the android version and disables the feature if its not android 5.
