Well, control is not really a conspiracy. Government itself exists to control and rule. Control is just an ugly word, I agree, and seems to convey a conspiracy depending on how its used. But no doubt government is a control mechanism. 

 

About keeping us safe, Ruben does make an interesting point. We are not told to stay home because of the flu. Our government doesn't ban smoking, they don't outlaw drunkenness. Smoking alone kills almost 500,000 people a year in the US. But smoking is allowed.

Another thing, 40,000 people each year die in car accidents. Yet, if they lowered all speed limits to 25 miles per hour across the board, they could almost eliminate car accident fatalities. But they don't do anything of the above, which would "keep us safe".

 

So I think if it was about "keeping us safe", smoking and alcohol abuse would be illegal. Speed limits would be lowered nationwide no matter where you drive. That keeps us "safe". I think this is a crises being exploited to expand the reach of government. The crisis, however, is real - its very real.

 

Now I'd say the organization is interested in our well being. The GB prohibit both smoking and alcohol abuse, and they frown on many other unsafe practices the government allows which causes harm to us as people and as a nation.

Good point sis. I think this virus a causing a lot of problems in the organization too. We must stay faithful to the end.

Scary and the brothers will will be very careful with this. I was told about 2 months ago that this mess can last up to September. My doctor will freak out on this news.

I think the pressure was mounting as well here locally.

 

The DOJ chimed in siding with the business owners’ lawsuits against the governor, so I think the tide was turning against the stay home order and business closures. 
 

I mean, the 5th stay home order was dropped a little over a week after it was secretly extended (last Friday 5:30pm, dropped today). 
 

I think she HAD to do this.

I just wish hair salons could open. (My only complaint 😁) I’m looking worse than  a Sheepdog.

IRON RIVER, Mich. (WLUC) - The Dickinson-Iron District District Health Department has announced the first confirmed positive COVID-19 case in Iron County. 
 

The individual was only identified as an adult man. No other details have or will be released about the man. 

The health department says he has been quarantined according to current guidelines and those who may have been a close contact have been notified. 

 

According to the DIDHD, the case appears to be a low risk to the community. 

 

This case brings Upper Michigan's totals to 118 cases, 17 deaths and at least 74 recoveries.

The difference is that when people choose to take their chances with the flu, they risk infecting others "that can't help it". Then again, that logic could be applied to driving and alcohol, even smoking, which has caused fires costing innocent lives. 

 

But the big, major difference in my opinion, is that diseases are part of natural life, while smoking, alcohol and driving are luxuries of our system.

Something odd is happening. Despite easing restrictions, people becoming more "careless" (i.e. returning to previous social norms) and major demonstrations and churches and mosques and schools re-opening, the case numbers are dropping sharply here in Germany. 

I personally am starting to believe there is a genetic marker or something connected to this issue that hasn't been discovered yet. They are learning more and more about this virus and how to treat it... I read a claim by a physician yesterday that Chloroquin has killed a large part of the Corona patients that died because of a known genetic marker, some kind of enzyme deficiency that 1.7 billion people worldwide are attributed with. Particularly darker-skinned people. Don't remember the details but that would explain a lot, for example why Russia has so few deaths and Brazil so many.
