Those who wear masks above could be good bank robbers. I step into my bank last week and the lady ask to pull my mask to see my face. When I show my pretty face, she was at ease. Yesterday, I walk into my bank and pull my mask  and told everybody it is me. They know who I am.

Agree. But I’m not saying our health officials are untrustworthy wit large, but my point is there could be a reason why they appear to be being ignored by the public. 
 

There has been a lot of flip-flopping on COVID recommendations while there have been heavy handed restrictions imposed on people’s lives and livelihoods, and yet they say they have little knowledge or are “still learning” about it.

 

I follow the advice that helps and makes sense to me, but everyone doesn’t feel that way and I think it’s been played out with the the new cases etc.

 

This latest admission is just another nail.

Let's all take a deep breath.  This is the kind of talk that makes us sound like we are taking sides in a political debate.  The coronavirus topic in general has become just as much polarized as any other topic. 

 

The slave has never voiced an opinion contrary to what the government or science promotes unless there is conflict with scripture.  To do otherwise would not be discreet.  So, yes, the slave will always go with the government line even though that line or opinion might change at a later time. 

 

The slave is not lying. The slave is not reporting on whether masks are effective or not. The slave is simply stating a fact - masks are recommended.  That is a fact.  The government and medical community recommends wearing a mask. 

 

Let's not use the slaves direction as a club to validate our opinions

+++ I never said it was normal. Most treatments or preventions have drawbacks. Which is when you have to weigh the cons and pros.

The mask is in case someone happens to have Covid, is nearby, coughs, speaks with spit, etc.  But all these factors would have to add up...so a mask is in case of exposure....how much I'm being exposed to is very hard to calculate, but as I said, something is better than nothing.

---Sorry to rain on your parade, but there are more facts to consider here than the simple "barrier" argument which holds little ground. It may change the projection of your breath, but the same volume still exits your lung, and at some point, the mask does little to nothing to prevent the spread of germs.

 

But by all means, if it makes you feel safer.

 

+++ Sometimes it's the most basic and  simple concepts that intelligent people have the most trouble with. But at the end of the day, no matter how simple or logical something is, some people will go on believing what they want to believe.

I could be wrong, but I remember hearing that even though Covid particles are smaller than the holes in the mask, that's not the point, because the Covid particle is being carried inside of a droplet of water, and that droplet is too big to go through the mask. A simple way to test whether or not a mask or face covering blocks water vapor is to breath on a mirror and try to fog it up. An effective mask or face covering will minimize the vapor transfer.

You're entirely missing the point. The cloth mask does little to nothing to protect YOU from Covid19. It protects others from YOUR germs should you carry Covid19 and be an asymptomatic spreader. After wearing a mask for a while and breathing into it for long enough, the cloth becomes saturated with germs and you spread them nonetheless. There is a reason that wearing masks is not a no-brainer and why the W.H.O. initially said they could even be counterproductive. The "something is better than nothing" argument is simply not necessarily true.

Good point. My intention is not to use slaves direction /guidelines as a club. I am voicing my concerns in agreement with what has been clearly published. Those who wish to have other opinions with the clear direction is on them. I am promoting unity with their lead.

You’re right bro. I’m glad we didn’t comment on what works v what doesn’t work - just encouragement to follow recommendations.

I was invited to attend the AH weekly Maintenance meeting today and they didn't mention that any events were canceled. The last we heard there are events starting in September, however, obviously that could change. BTW: a brother from WEC-FLORIDA gave the spiritual talk today 👍🏼

I'm thinking maybe(just maybe), this Covid-19 will never go away no matter what nations do do cure it and at one point in the near future, all people will be convinced 

it will say with mankind forever and when religions find out about it, will probably not give up on meeting (For them it's a source of income) and maybe that is when people will be justified to destroy them? 

 

(Some experts say that this Covid-19 is incurable and plus people are not obeying the authorities)

I see all the worldly people setting up their fireworks displays. Ugh! Really? 

My town is inundated with stupid tourists, traffic was backed up for 2 miles! There will be thousands, I mean thousands of people here for the next 2 weeks. Greaaat,  the virus is gonna explode. I'm following the advice from update #4 from the brothers, very, very careful. More so now because of the stupid people out and about.
