There are a lot of news articles recently about what might happen if he dies. Pretty interesting speculation...

One article mentioned that she wouldn't last a year, then there would be a big change.

Fake news spreads as fast as legit news.  Maybe even faster.

TMZ led with the claim and now it seems other news sources are jumping on board:

Time will tell.

This news might be accurate. If he is ok, then show himself to the public

Remember the image of the freight train barreling down the tracks and an ant standing on the track holding up a hand and saying"HALT" ? (someone will posit it)

That's exactly how it feels right now.

He has a double somewhere doesn’t he.

That could make a hilarious sequel to "Dave."

Oh, wait, wasn't that the plot of the Sony movie North Korea hacked

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un made his first public appearance in 20 days as he celebrated the completion of a fertilizer factory near Pyongyang, state media said Saturday, ending an absence that had triggered global rumors that he was seriously ill.

The North's official Korean Central News Agency said Kim attended the ceremony Friday in Suncheon with other senior officials, including his sister Kim Yo Jong, who many analysts predict would take over if her brother is suddenly unable to rule.

Neither the KCNA nor the official Rodong Sinmun newspaper immediately released photos online from the ceremony.

It was Kim's first public appearance since April 11, when he presided over a ruling Workers' Party meeting

This is yet another example of why wondering if a specific person is the King of the North makes no sense.

I love how the slave has always pointed to governments as representing these kings.

Quote

Gradually, Russia and its allies emerged as the king of the north. As discussed in the preceding article, for a government to fill the role of the king of the north or the king of the south, it must do three things: (1) interact directly with God’s people, (2) show by its actions that it is an enemy of Jehovah and his people, and (3) compete with the rival king.

Super clear.

I wish Kim Jong Un well - as his demise would create even more instability and issues for the people of North Korea. It would be wonderful if the preaching work could really open up there!

I agree on the preaching part. However if for the Kingdom work to be possible in that area, I would think the current Kim's system in North Korea has to end first. As for as long he lives on the current situation will continue and worsen. And even if he dies, it will be evident he will lend the power to someone else. Many people had hope when Kim Jong Il, (the father of Kim Jong Un) died eight years ago, the North Korea would be freed. But they were prepared, and the power simply were given to his son.

There is currently an added variable of China where if and when North Korean government collapses, the China is currently seeking to take over the uncontrolled North Korean territory. That would obviously not a good news for us, as all we know, we have absolutely no freedom of Kingdom activity in the mainland China. Needless to say, China taking over NK will heat political war between them and the U.S., Japan and the Republic of Korea, which can also take another years.

Previously an NK people could freely hear Kingdom news through Russian border, but now even that has been suspended. So now it seems, and for a long time now on, the only way they can hear Kingdon message is to escape from NK, (i.e. seek asylum) go to Europe or even Republic of Korea, and then could listen to the Kingdom News here.

  • 1 month later...

I saw a clip on news channel and it said his sister, has made a threat against S.K.  That action will be taken if this group (who is tossing some sort of pamphlets over into N.K.), she will take action, and destroy S.K.  So who knows, they are a secretive country.   And it didn't say she was speaking for her brother, just that she made the threat.
