A female football player, who is Muslim, also refused to play the “pride round” and wear the rainbow guernsey. It was a big thing to do, especially as her teammates are mostly gay and all are supportive of LGBTQIA’s and their cause.

The head of the Women’s football league said they were grappling with how to do “inclusion” and not alienate faith.

I've read about it. We have a video about a sister who refused a similar thing.

There I'd a slight but distinct difference, though.  In the video, the sister is asked to purchase a piece of personal decoration.  On the other hand, this sports player is reusing to wear a work uniform.

Here in the USA there are many brothers and sisters who work for EMS or fire departments.  Their uniforms display the US flag. Now, these Witnesses would not wear the US flag as personal decoration, but they do not have that same freedom with their work uniform (I'm sure someone will point out some exceptions).

They passed our US flag pins at work. I declined the pin because it was not a job requirement or part of a uniform. On the other hand, as Witnesses do we have the right to dictate a work uniform? Do we have the freedom to request an alternative? What do we do if we must choose between our job or our refusal to wear a patch or logo or something we shun?

Sometimes I just say the “Lmnop’s”. It’s easier than trying to remember other letter combo. 🤪

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

Those last two confuse me 🤣 Intersexuals can be straight as can asexuals, so now straight people can be a part of their rainbow too. 😐

I live in a temporary reality- awaiting the day I wake up to life in the real world!

When you are asexual, you are not interested in sex at all, no matter the gender. Intersex people are individuals born with any of several sex characteristics including chromosome patterns, gonads, or genitals that, according to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, "do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies". Previously known as hermaphrodites. So they cannot be straight, as they were born with both male and female characteristics.

He lights up my path.

As I hear and obey.”
