There has been quite a lot of 5.0 or higher all over the earth this last week.. 43 to be exact... we had a few weeks quite weeks prior to that. Then had a week or so of heavy activity.

There was an unusually large quake in Western Australia and a 5.8 in the Solomon Islands, early this morning.

For the last 2 weeks there have been at least 5.0 and higher. It was fairly quiet for about a month before that and then there was another 2 weeks of 5.0 and higher according to Dutch.

A 6.7, 6.2 and a 6.8 all hit north of Ascension Island (in the Atlantic, off the coast of the middle of Africa) just before midnight EST 08-17-17.
