  1. It was so crystal clear, unbelievably easy to follow each element of the talk. I’ve never taken that many study notes from a morning worship session before! 😊 it felt like Bro Splane was talking to each of us individually. What an incredibly informative talk! Just loved it so much!! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
  2. Hello, I have a baptised daughter who is 14 years old. We live in Australia but we have family in American. My daughter loves languages as she studies them as well as the piano and the viola. she is very good with zoom ( has her own account) I would be very happy for the two girls to connect.
  3. Isn’t this a question that should be directed at Sheldon Cooper and the gang? 🤔😂
  4. Mosquito nets locks oil rigs....petroleum obituaries divorce 😢 fast food stores (to stop those “fat jeans” 😁)
  5. Is it possible to see it in the Southern Hemisphere, or will I have to wait the 400 years also. 🙏🏻😜
  6. You are so loving to share your funny story. We all need a little laughter in our lives. After reading your story I had laughter tears, 😂😂. Thank you so very much! 💖
  7. You won’t have to worry about WHAT school the go to, who their teachers are, the friends they make and the amount of time they spend in the education institute compared to time in spiritual matters. They way they are pushed if they show any signs of potential. No spilt parent custody battles, no unbelieving biological parent issues. With no fear of what entertainment they might stumble upon or be introduced too, through unbelieving relatives or school friends.
  8. Thank you 🙏🏻 that was extremely encouraging and uplifting.

Thank you for extending the 💖 love to our on line family. My Jehovah bless you thoughtfulness my brother. 💜💜

Thanks, Nina! I was very encouraged by those thoughts too. :)

  9. Not only is it TP, tissues, wipes, bleach, hand sanitizer, but now it’s rice! The Woolworths stores have put a limit on rice as well. As well as changing their rain check and returns policy. All we need now is a threat of a cyclone and we won’t be able to get bread, milk, bottled water or canned food as well. It all goes in line with Jesus’ words of there will be food shortages in the last days. It’s interesting how that scripture was always interpreted/ illustrated with countries less commercialised than G20 countries. Yet now we see it applying to us. 11. Yesterday in field service our brother taking the group paraphrased a news item he had come across. He stayed that the report was from a pastor in USA and was in relation to Australia’s current bushfire crisis. The paraphrase went something along the lines of: “the bushfires that Australia is experiencing is punishment from God.” (These bushfires have resulted in at least 27 deaths and over 2100 homes destroyed thus far. The crisis is still on going in all but two states of Australia) The brother then gave us Jer 29:11 as a nice scripture to counter any discussions. My question is, has anyone else heard this report or have a news link to it, can anyone verify this at all please? TIA, to my kind and loving family. [emoji8]

  13. Thank you for sharing the link and bring the story to our attention. My young baptised daughter has read Simone’s book and throughly enjoyed it. It actually strengthened her faith. So when I sent her the link she was very excited. So again thank you my dear sister. [emoji3526][emoji171] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. It reached townsville in North Queensland on Thursday ( approx 2400 km north of Sydney) it was hard to tell if it was smoke from a bush fire or dust. The air was red. We couldn’t even see magnetic island!
  15. Hi All, we live in this area and total rainfall for the event was an average of 1.5 meters in 7 days. Most days we would get between 200mm - 400mm. Have just had news from our cong that only one of our brothers house was damaged and now not as bad as was originally thought. Most of our families in our cong only got water in the backyard/ front yard (a lot of highest homes in townsville). We have been blessed with the rain as we needed it. Just not all at once. Half a metre a month for 3 months would of been better!
  16. An honest and humble look in the mirror often answers these questions. Thank you for framing these questions as you did.
  17. Inviting the children to show love and give encouragement. Wow. Just like Jesus did. What a precious moment in time.
  18. “South Korea's liberal president, Moon Jae-in, the driving force behind the current engagement effort, watched parts of the verification broadcast live at an underground bunker in Seoul” Interesting trust issues I thought. [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Precisely, why now? In this year 2018? Maybe it’s part of a bigger plan. Is this perhaps to be expected? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’m not if many people are aware of this one, but here in Queensland (Australia) there is a very old KH that is on postcards. It’s in a very northern town isolated town in far North Queensland called Cooktown. Here is the excerpt from Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Cooktown_Hospital Old Cooktown Hospital is a heritage-listed former public hospital and now Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall at May Street, Cooktown, Shire of Cook, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Francis Drummond Greville Stanley and built from 1879 to c. 1881 by Alfred Doorey & Son. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.[1] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thank you for being brave, I am new to social media and struggle with praise and constructive advice especially when I can’t see the person, as such I run like a scared bunny when I got “construction advice” for my first few posts. As such I just read mostly now. Too scared to post. So thank you, it needed to be said. [emoji3059][emoji847] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. This reminds of the George Orwell book 1984. I remember studying it as a young girl for school and some of the fears never left me. Life really is imitating art. [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Ooh!!! I so like this one. It's so much shorter than the other video we try to show st the door when offering the Kingdom Hall Invitation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Oh dear, poor Dennis. Prayers for Dennis and his family. May our many prayers strengthen him to assist him to be like our Apostle Paul. May Jehovah bring to his mind also the faith strengthening example of our dear King Christ Jesus, and how he suffered for us and how we would/ are suffering in his and his Fathers name. You have our love Dennis. Stay strong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I was told once we only need two things to solve most problems around the house: If it won't move and it should - WD40 If it moves and it shouldn't - gaffa tape. Lol [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
