He did say "pellet gun" - that hardly qualifies as a sniper rifle ... pellets don't travel that far or at that speed.

Just because a rifle has telescopic sights (scope) does not make it a sniper rifle ... they are also used for hunting

In some countries you can get a powerful hunting pellet rifle with speed of 800 fps +  .

In Canada anything 500 fps + requires a firearm acquisition certificate ( FAC )

Consciousness, that annoying time between naps!

There are gun threads for those interested in talking about guns.

They are slightly smaller than the beard threads. Enjoy!

Now, back to the pictures....

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

Hum😕 You have a snipers gun at home?

No, it is not a firearm. It is a pellet gun. It is powered by Co2.

He was hitting a target 15 foot away , with a safe background. I taught him range safety and gun control.  He is a quick learner.

See the pellet tin in the lower left corner of the picture?

It's a fun sport Joāo, maybe you should try it sometime.  It is very relaxing.

What is that?

It is a very cheap telescopic sight, the longer section on the front is just a sun shade so that you don't get sunglare on the front and possibly interfere with the shot. The scope was less than $40.00 US.

The rifle itself is a QB-78, in .22 caliber. It cost me less than $100.00 US

Sounds exausting to reload...

No, actually it's not.

It uses 2  co2  12gram bulbs or cartridges,  it gets about 50 shots before it needs new 12gr cartridges.

You do have to load the pellet each time but that's no big deal. If you shoot Co2 too fast it cools the rifle too much(Boyles Law) so I go slow and the PSI stays consistent...
