I had to contemplate on the material presented in this talk. (B.Lett)

I have always knew, that our current assignment in disciple-making work prepares us for the future.

But this talk really drove the point right into my heart.

The artwork was simply outstanding.

Can't wait "for my future assignments" to study with resurrected ones in the New World.

What did you enjoy from this talk?

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)

We were told by the brothers that we should call our friends in the past brothers and sisters. Brother Lett called Rutherford a Judge. And I still call Russell a Paster. Rutherford and Russell was known throughout the world with these titles and they whole heartily lived by them.

I had to listen to this talk a few times..was just so beautiful. Love hearing about the new world. We know the resurrection is going to happen, but his talk made it all the more real. Brought me to tears several times. Can’t wait to welcome back my husband!! It’s exciting! I feel like we are so close to this all becoming a reality!

Could be a little premayure. The universe is big and so far we have only been given the Earth.

I am not sying I am Superman, I am only saying that nobody has ever seen Superman  and me in a room together.

I had the same feeling when I heard this talk. We have heard the organization always say that the work we are now engaged in (teaching, constructions, etc ...) will continue for the new world, but to hear a whole talk about it, it was an eye opener, made the new world more real for me. The great tribulation is going to be a small stop. The next time we hear that the organization is involved in a great project, which will last for many years, whatever it may be, we never need to doubt again if the governing body really believes that the end is near.

Our Cobe is right there with you. As a lover of sci-fi, he looks forward to exploring space.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

*** ws chap. 22 p. 184 par. 10 The God of the “Prince of Peace” Becomes “All Things to Everyone” ***
10 To all eternity our earth will bear a distinction that no other planet throughout endless space will enjoy, though the earth may not be the only planet that will ever be inhabited. Uniquely, it will be where Jehovah has indisputably vindicated his universal sovereignty, establishing an eternal and universal legal precedent. It will be the only planet on which Jehovah of armies will have fought “the war of the great day of God the Almighty.” It will be the only planet to which God sent his dearest Son to become a man and die in order to recover the planet’s inhabitants from sin and death. It will be the only planet from which Jehovah will have taken 144,000 of its inhabitants to be “heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs with Christ.”—Romans 8:17.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Why should we be given (or even want) more than Jehovah has promised?  The earth he has given to mankind.  We will beautify it as he wanted.  Our promised land - the earth.

I just hope to be there to enjoy this gift.  It is enough for me.

The Bible speaks of "desires" (not the fleshly ones) of the heart, and with billions of people coming through resurrection, we are going to have so many distinct personalities with huge range of interests living on this beautiful earth, some will be happy with simple gardening, some others will be curious and having scientific mind/nature, others perhaps will be writers, others again will be curious of the "secrets" of Universe  .. - let's wait and see how the promise indicated in  Psalm 20:4  will be fulfilled which says...May he grant you the desires of your heart.

We have eternity to find out!

Life in Paradise will be the most exciting period of mankind ever experienced. (This we know for sure)

Life in paradise will be dynamic unlike today that is monotonous.. Humans are curious by nature. We awed at things that is new to us.. For sure, there will be always new in  the universe  because its expanding.

Thanks. I have contemplated about  long time ago.  Why he created those planets..... Yes he said , he created the earth to be inhabited.  and he created this earth out of nothing. He can do so with other planets in the universe.

True sis. The beautifying of the earth was done with angels. They were happy working with Jehovah and Jesus doing satisfying and enjoyable work. It will be nice if Jehovah extends that invite to humans since we'll all be a part of His unique family in the future.

It does not say inhabited by humans, nor that other planets will be inhabited.
