We were in the same circuit, and we use to see her at the Assembly Hall for circuit assembles. Several years ago, I was told that she was on hospice, but I couldn't confirm that. She donated several nice paintings to the Assembly Hall. Sorry to hear that she has died.

I went to the movie theater with some sisters to watch it back then. Later I bought the DVD and watched it again at home.

Sorry to hear about her death.

Did you know sister Margaret has a very short appearance in the movie? I think it´s one of the last scenes....she´s sitting on a bench.

It's started now.

We just got home from our meeting so we missed it. Who gave the talk?

It is actually still on.

There was a nice pre-talk slide show with songs/music - they are going to show the slide show again after it has finished.

Not quite. It's at about 12 minutes into the movie.

I didn't know the story of how her daughter Jane took the truth. She initially wasn't interested, and wondered why her mother would let JWs into their home. (Come to think of it, this was accurately portrayed in the movie.) So she joined in on the study once just to prove the Witnesses wrong! Of course, it doesn't work like that. She eventually started studying herself, and she and her mother were baptized on the same day.

So beautiful! My background is in the visual arts, I’m a fiction writer, and I worked in the arts secularly for most of my life. So I love this sister’s story so much because she was able to work as an artist, keep her head on straight, and use her work and public voice to bring praise to Jehovah.
