My doctor always prescribes 30 day supply, unless its a narcotic, and you only get a few...and that is only proper. But, a mail order can get you a three month supply of regular meds, not narcotic though........CVS and Walgreens, in my area, will give you a three month supply if Dr prescribes w/one refill....means a 6 month supply but can only get 90 day supply at one time.... I don't think many pharmacies carry 'extra' drugs either - my Dr ordered potassium twice a day and it took a week b -
I’ve wondered - how do people get a week’s worth of prescription meds? Insurance doesn’t allow you to refill more than 2-3 days before the prescription runs out, so there’s not really extra doses. -
