      Good morning everyone 🌄 🌄

I'm dropping parts 2 and 3 of my latest short story today in the creative writing section, if anyone is interested in reading them. Since it's a ten part series, I'm going to drop a couple every day ☺️

(P.S. If anyone would like me to send them the rest of the story all at once, please message me privately and I will do so)

*Note: Please read this whole update...as it explains the newest short story I am posting starting today: The Diary In The Attic!

I just posted the final part of my short story, Five Daughters, One Voice: What Jehovah Saw. I sincerely hope those who read it enjoyed it...I tried my best to be faithful to the Biblical account...embellishing only when necessary.

Today is going to be a two for one: I had another short story planned to share next...but then something very unexpected happened about a month ago.

The brother who helps me with my research dropped something in my lap that was not only amazing and awe inspiring in and of itself...it was simply too good to keep for myself.

I'm not allowed to share the fragments of the diary this brother showed me...but out of nowhere inspiration struck...shortly after my initial reading of it.

I'm not proud of this...but when I was disfellowshipped as a teenager...prior to going to prison...I traveled to a different state to meet a worldly girl in person that I had met online. While in that unnamed state...I met a Witness family and stayed with them for three weeks...lying about my status in the congregation.

They had a 17 year old daughter...very pretty...(which, yes...is what caused me to stay longer than normal)…and they had a separate cabin on their property that they allowed me to use. While there...I learned that their daughter had a very aggressive form of cancer...and shortly after that I ended up leaving because the elders in their congregation started asking me for details about myself...(they had figured out something wasn't right about me and the excuses I was making up)…and I left...exiting stage right rather quickly.

After I was released from prison...years later...I traveled back to that state to attempt to apologize in person...only to find out that their daughter had died before she turned 18...and the family had left the United States and moved somewhere overseas.

I ended up speaking to a couple of brothers who knew her very well...since childhood...and what I learned made me cry. She was a truly beautiful person...inside and out.

I wrote several poems over the years about her...but none of them did her justice. Now I hope I have finally rectified that situation...at least in my own head before Jehovah.

The following story has bits and pieces of truth in it about this sister, (information I remember from what those brothers told me about her)…but I decided to take the idea of the diary and couple it with a story that would hopefully introduce all of you to what I know about her...and what I know that Jehovah saw.

I have taken a lot of creative license with this story...I freely admit that.

I ended up breaking it into ten separate parts...not because I had to...but because I honestly feel like she deserves it.

This is probably the most personal story I have ever written.

The first five parts focus on Anna and the diary...but the last five...the last five I wrote purely from the heart. I cried through nearly every single word...not because of what could have been for me...(I hold no illusions in that regard whatsoever)…but simply because the story rings true...every word just seemed to naturally fall into place...and I feel confident that there will not be a single dry eye after finishing part ten.

Therefore...without further ado...here is the link to my latest short story entitled: The Diary In The Attic
