What was the abbreviation for these old Watchtowers? Because w12 was just 6 years ago etc.

The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. Ec 12:13

There's a storm brewing on Satan's horizon...

A storm of apocalyptic proportions.

A Barred Owl showed up at our bird feeders.

Stayed for a few hours.

Mentioned it on my birdlist and got this explanation:

Quote
They frequently do this when the snow becomes to icy to catch food through.
They are watching for rodents that come up for bird seed.
Throw seed on top of the snow and out in open areas to  tempt the rodents out and if you can trap some put them out
where the owl can see them. Some one over in Iron Co helped one a few winters ago by suppling them with dead mice.

JWTalk won't let me attach a pic to this post (it's less than 300kb).

So I will put it in the next, then the two posts will merge and the pic will end up

in this post.:D

The more pic's I see of Australia the more I think it's time to move. The Pacific NW has lost it's allure.

Australia Is Home To Heaps Of The World's 25 Most Venomous Snakes and 10 most dangerous spiders. I think I'll wait a while as much as I would like to see and experience it all.

I live here for 25 years and seen only 3 snakes in the wild (I do a lot of hiking and bushwalking)

One was running away from me like crazy ... Am I ugly or what? LOL

Sister Linda (Loopy) is keeping busy while she is recovering from her falls on the ice.  I found some yarn and she's crocheting me an afghan:

I don't see many snakes either.  They tend not to like us, so they keep out of our way.  Still have to be alert, of course, when bushwalking.  I like it when the wildlife joins us on witnessing.  We have rural blocks as part of our territory, and bandicoots scurry past when we are at the doors.  They are also known as quendas. Like a rat, but cuter!

Love it! Somehow, I always mess up this stitch (Chevron?) so I never attempt it. Hope you are feeling better Sister Linda. Please stop ice skating for the rest of this winter. Oops, today is first day of spring in these here parts. Waiting for another N'oreaster.
