Depends how lazy they are in their speech. I know an elder in a different congregation, same hall as me, who is a Newfie from area where my daughter lives - no accent.

When the snow blows in off the lake - snow squalls. My kind of snowmobile.

Ah remember when dis woulda gotta stuck.

Winnipeg is so flat that when it rains you can swim in the street. That is for a short time in the summer.

The rest of the year you skate - after all it is also known as Winterpeg.

Now you don't have to go out in the wilds to get attacked by bears. They come to you,

some even save you time from having to go to the hospital for treatment.
