I like that one a little better!  >:D<

“Jackson Lett Morris Cook” - amazing that just those 4 names can make a complete sentence.

Can you do it with the 12 apostles please because I keep forgetting.

Then the 7 dwarves.

Thanx muchly.

I put Brother Cook's full name in the Google browser and came up with a picture that was identified as belonging to the new Governing Body member.  There wasa bunch of other things, but I did not have the heart to go very far with that (you know Google...).

Seems to me that there was a magazine that contained pictures of the helpers.  Does anyone know where one can find that?

I found the October 15th 2015  WT study edition, and it listed the governing body helpers up to that time,  but no pictures

https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2015771?q=helpers&p=par

That list was also in the January 2018 FAQ listing on jw.org, with some changes, and it was updated to add Brother Cook to the governing body.

Not all of the governing body has a life story in the literature (Brothers Morris, Jackson, and Losch do- maybe others), but I just discovered that Brother Herd's life story is in the May 2018 study edition.

Friday I met a brother Alex Reinmueller at the AH but I thought he was a local brother

Friday was a work day and I saw him and his wife wandering through the dining room in work clothes so I introduced myself. I saw his name in the 10/15/15 WT and it says he is on the Publishing Committee.. Is there a picture of him?

EDIT:

Found it.

I'm pretty sure that was the brother I met. There was a CA yesterday so he must have been the Branch guest speaker...

Do I understand correctly that he himself is a member of the publishing committee and you saw him at the hall cleaning? Just to be sure :D

I saw him at the Assembly Hall in normal clothes and I thought he was worker because it was a work day, however it appear I was wrong. :)

I assume now that he was just looking around.

It's not unusual to have brothers come in for specific jobs, that day I met a brother that comes from San Francisco just to do the quarterly visual inspection of the fire sprinkler system. So when I saw brother Reinmueller and his wife looking at the dining room, I assumed they were working..

Did you notice? Brother Herd also reads his own life story in the audio version, with the help of his wife Gloria!

Yes!!! What a treat.  Brothers Jackson, Losch and Morris read their own life stories too.  With the JW Broadcasting feature, we get to recognize their voices.  It makes sense that the actual brothers get to express themselves while telling their own life stories.

They always get the brothers and sisters who are telling the life stories to narrate them in the languages they can as well, if possible.

Yes, indeed. The AM was in October. I'm pretty sure Bro. Cook was a helper at the time.  So, we may have already "met" him.

Observations regarding Bro. Morris are related to post 8 and 12.

A funny thing happened while typing this . . . My autocorrect changed Bro. Cook to Bro. Cool.  How cool is that !?!

Haha, newbie here, just found out that AM is short for Annual meeting. Had to google that up. Silly me. Maybe I'm so far away from the States, information tend to trickle down more slowly. Quite excited about the video about the GB that we will be discussing this week. I had better get myself  more acquainted with the various acronyms.

Anyway thanks bro for that cool bit of information. :) GG = Good going. I think I'm going overboard.
