Season 3 wraps up, and no Boba Fett....lol

ย

"I was supposed to be in The Mandalorian Season 3 but nobody rang me. I was waiting for the phone call in New Zealand, waiting and wanting to give up. Well that Mando guy stole a few chapters of my book... I'm sure this guy isโ€ฆ ahโ€ฆ ruining my show. But I couldn't say anything. I'm not the writer, so I have to bear it I guess."

ย

While these comments may seem confrontational and overly cynical from Morrison, it is worth pointing out that the actor has always been humorous and unserious in nature. These comments were likely made in jest, specifically about Mando ruining The Book of Boba Fett. Regardless, it is likely true that Fett was planned for The Mandalorian season 3, with the obvious changes made to the season altering this, unbeknownst to Morrison. This would naturally come as a disappointment to the actor, who has been incredibly committed to Star Wars since the release of the prequels.

Interestingly, The Mandalorian season 3 has many references to the Jewish religion, history and culture. This is due to Jon Favreau (executive producer and director) having a Jewish mother and a Catholic father, but uses his experiences when his mother died whilst he was young, and also the story of a father and son, as he was from a single parent family with his father.

The first 2 episodesย  of Ahsoka have dropped.

ย I found the pace faster than Andor.

ย But I'm not sure what the catch will be to keep the viewers tuning in every week.

ย With The Mandalorian, there was Baby Yoda.

The Mandalorian: Sigourney Weaver Confirms Film Casting, Met Grogu
During an interview posted earlier today,

Sigourney Weaver confirmed joining the cast of The Mandalorian

Tue, 27 Aug 2024 by Ray Flook

During an interview with Deadline Hollywood ahead of her receiving Venice Film Festival's Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, Sigourney Weaver (Alien, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart) confirmed that she had joined the cast โ€“ and met Grogu. "I'm playing a role in 'The Mandalorian & Grogu' [directed by Favreau]. I got to meet Grogu for the first time the other day. Technically, since they are all in a "Galaxy far, far away" - they are all aliens since none of them are from the earth in this galaxy

Rumor: The Mandalorian & Grogu Movie to End Star Wars Series Without Season 4
SEPTEMBER 25, 2024
BY APOORV RASTOGI
Despite its massive fan following, the Star Wars franchise has experienced a dull period of late. A flurry of underwhelming projects has unfortunately left a sour taste in the mouths of long-time admirers. Nevertheless, The Mandalorian series has served as a beacon of hope for fans, re-establishing their faith in the franchise. The show originally debuted in 2019, with the series expanding its narrative with two follow-up seasons. However, as per recent speculations, there are high chances that The Mandalorian Season 4 might never see the light of day.
The Mandalorian Season 4 not happening, movie rumored to end the franchise
The accredited Star Wars series will reportedly conclude after The Mandalorian & Grogu movie, leaving no room for a fourth season.
The update was first reported by renowned industry insider Daniel Richtman, or DanielRPK. Talking about the possibility of Season 4, Richtman stated that The Mandalorian & Grogu would be the ultimate addition to the acclaimed series. โ€œI have also confirmed the Mandalorian movie will be the final chapter of the show, no season 4,โ€ Richtman said, as per The Direct. โ€œHe will be in other projects after that but โ€˜The Mandalorianโ€™ will be over,โ€ the scooper added.
This development could come as a surprise to many as The Mandalorian showrunner Jon Favreau himself provided positive updates regarding Season 4 in February 2023. โ€œSeason 4? Yea, Iโ€™ve written it already,โ€ Favreau stated. โ€œWe have to know where we are going to tell a fully formed story,โ€ he added.
However, an account by The Hollywood Reporter later disclosed that things were getting re-evaluated at Disney. The news was confirmed shortly afterward with the official announcement of The Mandalorian & Grogu movie.
Therefore, the likelihood of The Mandalorian receiving a Season 4 has diminished significantly. However, Pedro Pascalโ€™s character is expected to continue its run in the franchise through other Star Wars projects. He could perhaps make an appearance in the upcoming Ahsoka Season 2 or Dave Filoniโ€™s eventual Star Wars movie. Having said that, Mandalorianโ€™s future in the franchise is currently hanging in the balance.

I started watching "The Mandalorian" but have not watched in quite a while.ย  I only got part of season 1.ย  I am just too busy to watch much TV anymore.

ย

My son and daughter-in-law have sort of avoided any of the new Star Wars shows on Disney.ย  My daughter-in-law did comment that The Mandalorian was pretty good, so I guess she did start watching it.
