Michigan now has 58,241 confirmed positive cases and 5,595 COVID-19 deaths.

 

One new case was reported in Houghton County on Thursday.

 

There have been 117 confirmed positive cases and 16 deaths linked to COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula since the crisis began in mid-March.

 

Alger, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon Counties have had no cases or deaths.

Can anybody explain what has been going on in Sweden in the past two days? 

 

They usually had about 500-600 daily confirmed cases during ordinary weekdays. Then suddenly, June 3rd a huge spike of 2.200 cases (an immediate rise of 5%) and yesterday, another 1.100 cases.

 

This certainly can't only be due to delay in reporting, are they carrying out more tests?

I can't find any information whatsoever.

Sweden's strategy was to not lockdown and save their economy. 

 

They didn't lockdown and their economy is tanking anyway.  

 

Sweden now has the highest mortality rate in the entire world and all those sacrificed lives didn't save their economy.

I prefer not too regurgitate media narrative for now.

 

Consider this: Sweden did not shut down and did not postpone unavoidable deaths, while at the same time making sure their health system is not overburdened. Admittedly, they did not do enough at the beginning to protect old folks homes and senior living quarters, that are particularly affected by Corona.

 

But despite the case numbers remaining high, their death tolls are on a steady decline. It is highly likely that they have a larger immunity than countries that locked down early and entirely.

 

You argue "their economy is tanking anyway", so just think how bad it would have been had they locked down.

 

I saw videos of life in Sweden and it pretty much goes on as normal, but with some social distancing. Considering how normal they live their life, I am surprised their numbers aren't higher.

 

In my opinion, this is just more propaganda by our media trying to scare-monger us, and I've developed an immunity against Corona scare mongering.

And I hate to say it... even if the death rates through Corona triple in Sweden for 2020... that's 15.000 deaths, for what, 10 million inhabitants? Mathematically, that's 0,15 percent.

130.000 overdose on drugs

160.000 alcohol

400.000 homicides

700.000 nutritional deficiencies

810.000 suicide (!!!)

1 million AIDS (!!!!!!)

1.3 million road accidents

3 million diabetes

3.5 million respiratory diseases

9 million cancer

18 million cardiovascular diseases

 

How many Corona deaths will there be in 2020? No one really knows, because even the official numbers are sketchy. How many died from the wrong treatment in hospitals? How many died "with Corona" instead of "from Corona"? They say that risk groups (obesity, diabetes) are at a particular risk. So did they die from Corona or from diabetes?

 

We will never really know... but what can be said now is that the apocalyptic panic sweeping the world seems overproportionate.

I don't believe for a second that I know anything about what is going on with Corona, what it is, what it means, how dangerous it is, and I don't for a second downplay each and every death it causes. But I certainly perceive a very powerful manipulation going on at the moment and a very biased narrative by the media, and that "concerns" me. I panicked about Corona in January / February because institutions worldwide, from W.H.O. to the media, were downplaying the dangers. When the tide turned and they started making it seem like the end of the world, I started wondering what was going on and researching in the other direction. That's when I started noticing the heavy censorship going on in the internet, the constant barrage of links to W.H.O. sites where you can learn the "facts" about Covid19... This desperate attempt to control the narrative bothered me. Now you hear more and more people from the scientific community speak up, and despite us being months into the pandemic, it simply isn't the end of the world, but they are still playing that tune.

 

So it is quite clear that all of this is meant to lead up to something bigger.. what that is, we will see. But what I certainly do perceive clearly is the "love of the greater number growing cold".

Medical opinion based solely upon my observations. It will remain but become like the seasonal flu. We will just get used to loosing people every year to it.
