Thanks for the post. I had an eerie feeling when Pres Bush Sr., spoke about developing a new world order. However this administration is different he has spoken about establishing peace with North Korea,  Middle East an now a 5 country peace summit.  Its thrilling to the fulfillment of bible prophecy

This is not the first time political figures have mentioned discussing P&S ... so far they have not achieved anything with their talk.

 

We will have to wait and see if this has any results before we cheer or proclaim that this is the P&S talk of the prophesy .... let's not put the cart before the horse, let's wait for word from the chariot

'Achieving' isn't the scriptural barometer.

 

Whenever it is they are * saying * : "Peace and security!

 Politicians and BTG will say whatever they feel advances their agenda.

In view of the pandemic, they would say something just to get people to calm down if that were possible.

In a pronounced and news worthy way they will say P&S but there will be no actual achievement nor substance to their mendacity.

I think that is the point ... at this juncture, they are talking about meeting to "discuss" the subject of P&S. They have had other meetings like this.

 

So far, they have not then, nor yet "said/proclaimed/declared", whatever word you want to use, Peace and Security ... they have only said they were going to talk about it.

 

Until they actually "say" it, in whatever Biblical sense that scripture indicates, we should not be dogmatic that "this is it" - so, "achieving" IS a barometer ... in the sense that, "saying P&S" in the Biblical sense is the achieving - not whether they have actually produced such P&S

 

There have been other summits where P&S was the topic - even to the point they thought they could accomplish it - and the end has not yet come. Who knows what this summit, if it really happens, will produce. At this point, they are only talking about talking - they have not "said" anything

I bumped into an elder and his wife yesterday from my old cong -- we did the elbow rub - and he mentioned this to me and it was the first time I had heard about it.

 

The point he made was that is was interesting that this was Putin's suggestion. 

 

As KotN we are expecting him to be pushing against the West but this summit was his idea and that in itself is food for thought.

Remember though the king of the North and the King of the South get engaged in this pushing but later on remember they all come together as a coalition and work together to come against God's people that's when they are all destroyed possibly turning against each other like in the case of the Israelites and any foreign Nation coming against them.

As mentioned there have been many times in which the UN and world leaders come together to discuss peace and security it usually happens around September every year, I remember President Trump said something last year about Peace and Security at the UN and whenever it is said our ears quickly listen to who said it because we are all excited about this prophecy being fulfilled honestly I can't wait it will be music to my ear when it is actually said BTG fall follows.

Interesting as was mentioned earlier Putin is instigatingthe UN meeting. We will just have to just wait and see it will happen on Jehovah's timetable.
