Russia invades Ukraine

I have just got an update from Ukrainian Bethel brother about a general situation with brothers.

 

It is worse and worse every day.

 

In general there are no legal ways to protect brothers from army.

 

Military officeers just catching brothers on a streets, putting them to military office handcutted, make all sings in a documents instead of them and then sending brothers to a military camps.

 

One issue that brother who have serious problems with healh has been catched on 7 AM in a street when he go to work. They sent him to a military camp in a several hours. All the documents has been signed instead of him and medical comitee has been finished formally.

Hovewer he has witnessed all the time and showed his docoments saved on phone. For luck all the army officers sent here has refused to take him on a real army units. They changed 2 military camps and then they move brother to 3rd camp, he just run away when leaved from a bus to toilet at a gas station.

 

He has runned through forest, stayed knee-deep in a water but 4 hours later brothers has picked him.

Seems like sometimes this is only one way to avoid military service.

One building where children had got dialize procedures has been destroyed. 

Despite Russian propaganda that it was just downed air defense missile - photos clearly says that this was intentional action.

Results of today's missile attacks are really terrible, just devastating, I am out of words. I am trying to find some logic behind that, but I am really struggling with that. Assuming it really was intentional (not saying that it really was or that it was not), I can come up only with these thinking/explanations behind it (based also on the fact that it came right before the NATO summit):

 

- we can do whatever we want, what can you do to us?

- they wanted to show that they managed to upgrade their Kinzhal missiles in such a way that they can penetrate Patriot air defence that is allegedly protecting Kiev

- they wanted to warn NATO, that they are not afraid to escalate - intended to deter some NATO decisions

- any other ideas?

 

In any case it just shows a complete lack of any compassion and that human lives are worth exactly zero. It is a complete breakdown of humanity.

I’m not sure about the photos but I was listening to an interview on NPR today and the medical woman being interviewed said the hospital is big and well known location. It hit one of their buildings. The type of missile can be targeted and they are afraid Russia would do a second one at the same location to get the revue workers.

Video clearly shows that 0.5 tonnes-of-explosives intact rocket hits a hospital directly, without falling randomly.

Nothing new - in Syria Russian air forces targetly had destroyed hospitals.

The UN expressed deep concern as usual.

Always my brother.  We pray for Ukrainians and the Russian brothers as well as the S.Korean brothers, Haiti and else where.  We are constantly aware of the dangers you brothers face.   Fervent prayers with tears and begging Jehovah to bring this system to its close.

 

Trust that Jehovah is with you.  Isa. 30:15b "your strength will come in keeping calm and in trusting....."

 

It is not far off.  Soon, at any moment Jehovah can shift you from waiting on it to walking in it.  Stay faithful!

As I know In all places (even in a deeper places of Ukraine) at the first day of war all JW signs has been immediatelly removed and all paper documentation has been destroyed. 

 

Despite a fact that Russians stopped at 80 km from us at the beginning of war and then move back, we also destroyed all the signs. 

 

Melitopol on this photo has been occupied in 2 hours from the war beginning without any resistance.
By the way elders which  names and adresses were in administration escapeed to Ukraine in first days. 

The enemies visited them 3 months later without result.

 

We had have privilige to renew KH signs.)) But the problem was that brothers who removed were excited, sometimes worked quickly and very similar to this soldier`s above manner ).

We have needed much more time to restore.

Especially since there is a ceasefire treatie going on now with Israel and Gaza, but it remains to be seen in how well that will turn out it almost seems like there is to much animosity between them to achieve anything.

 

As regards the Ukraine war, with Trump soon to take office it will be interesting to watch the drama unfold for him to send ambassador's to achieve peace between Russia and Ukraine.

 

In the above link it mentions Luke 14:31,32 where Jesus gave a illustration of a king who had no reasonable recourse but to send ambassadors to sue for peace.

 

It just reminds me of the folly of Vladimir Zelensky who has put into law to not sue for peace aslong as putin is in power. 

Meanwhile so many lives are lost, and as we know the King of the North will keep thrusting out his hands to toward the lands.

His biased view comes to the lens here:

Yes exactly usually aljazeera is a good news source, though it is against the West in its backing of Israel. 
It is difficult to fine a neutral editorial as both the Kotn and south are against each other.

That being said we need to keep in mine western news have a agenda to and everything they say is not entirely accurate when they speak against there rivals.
