So hard to go through. As much as we love humans, that love for our pet family is still there.
Sophie was in a home where she had the best of care. She may have been able to take it for granted, (and that is wonderful)

But, I long for Jehovah’s Kingdom, where it will all be in balance, and we will be able to enjoy our domesticated animals Jehovah gave us, as we should. And will.
Sorry, sister. Lots of us out here, “feel your pain”.

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!

Sofie had such a nice long life!   Bet you two had some adventures!  I remember my two best buddies fondly but have never replaced them as I really just can't handle the grief again. But the funny thing I recall is I only came by these buddies because they were "in need" and it seemed only right to fill it if I could.   I might feel different if I had a situation...  I am glad you have your young  jack, Loopy, and hopefully his happy face will help you.

Oh Linda I am so so sorry the time had arrived to say goodbye to your little fur baby, companion & friend. At times like this  I always think of 2 Samuel 12:3.  but the poor man had nothing but one small female lamb, which he had bought. He cared for it, and it grew up together with him and his sons. It would eat from the little food he had and drink from his cup and sleep in his arms. It became as a daughter to him

Much love

Your sister

D

Thank you everyone.

I hope those that lost their fur babies also this week, please know that I have been thinking of you as well, but my thinking cap was not working this week to give my condolences as well. I’m sorry.

Yes, it certainly has been a ruff week.
