It makes sense, we are about to enter the Great Tribulation, we have to prepare our heart to see many exJW and non-JW people wanting to come back/join.

Study 18 paragraph 11 last sentence in the May 2024 article confirms this by mentioning: "And the apostle Paul warned that unrepentant apostates would not be resurrected.—Heb. 6:4-8; 10:29."

Does anyone remember the adjustment about studying with disfellowshipped people in the late 1970s?  Elders went to a special school at the Assembly Hall to get the correct procedure.  It was done away with in the early 1980s.

how diffrent would that study be as disfelowshipped ones might already know the material well..

Also the way to help wrongdoers. Of course elders in general have always tried to help them to repent, but now a lot more stress is put on that. The committee is not just to decide whether there is repentance or not, but rather to help the person to repent. And if more time and more meetings are needed for that, that is not a problem.

Jehovah is telling us clearly he wants everybody to repent and come back.

Something very interesting is the change in how to treat minors. Secular law is more merciful with minors. They are treated with more leniency for obvious reasons. Also the government cannot have any type of procedure with minors without the presence of the parents or adult responsible. We are now following the secular laws more accurately 😊

a question:

What do you think of jeans for sisters?

Cotton slacks- okay. Cotton processed into denim- not okay. 😄 But in all seriousness, it is hard to make jeans look dressy. Or as the update said, the pants "should not be casual but dignified, modest, and appropriate."

The direction for delegates invited to intl or specicial conventions are:

We request that no blue jeans, spandex outerwear, or other tight-fitting clothing be worn during the duration of your trip.

Simalar to the dresscode for bethel tours..

This should answer your question 😉
