The weather is just beautiful here, it got upwards of 70 yesterday so I bathed my pup outside in a basket, she doesn't like being wet and gets cold easy, here's how I warm her, she sees the heat pad come out and tries to paw it out of my hands, she loves this thing!

Went to the Whistler exhibition last weekend, saw the famous Arrangement in Black and Grey No 1, and I had a great urge to sneeze....

I took this photo on the island Praslin, Seyschelles

 

The legends of the coco de mer are legends about the nut and tree of the coco de mer, a rare species of palm tree which is endemic to the islands of Praslin and Curieuse in the Seychelles archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Before the Seychelles were discovered and settled, nuts of this species were sometimes carried by the ocean currents to distant shores, such as those of the Maldives, where the tree was unknown. These floating nuts did not germinate. The exceptional size and suggestive form of the nut, the circumstances of its discovery, and some unusual qualities of the trees have given rise to several legends.

I was reminded that one year ago today I took this pic of the beginning flood of brothers and sisters who came to help us build our Kingdom Hall! This was the site Coordinator and his wife and a brother who did security. We had so much fun.

We have a saying here, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula:  "April Blizzards freeze our gizzards."

Was working a jigsaw puzzle with my Mom and happened to look up.  This was the sight that greeted me, just out our front window:

 

 

The snow was piling up on the branches, because there was no wind.  It looked so pretty, I just had

to open the door and take a picture.  The only redeeming quality winter has is that it's pretty...sometimes.

 

 

The trees were iced in frosting.  The kind Jehovah makes.
