I can't confirm/recall if they allow special time and video space for "last minute edits"... 20170530_150605.thumb.jpg.9ca30dbc47d8da5fbee4fbe3dcc05c3f.jpg20170530_150233.thumb.jpg.c69d7934cff19d3762891ee999d16602.jpg

I really don't think it's too necessary to do last minute updates. They have JW news for that

BE PUNCTUAL!

BE ON TIME!

YAY!

If you're 5 minutes early you are 15 minutes late!- from a family head to one's family

"there was Jehovah’s word for him, and it went on to say to him: “What is your business here, E·lijah?" To this (Elijah) he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies"- 1 Kings 19:9, 10 Reference Bible

Ecclesiastes 7:21 "..., do not give your heart to all the words that people may speak," - Reference Bible

How about "Let's Take the Leap" in your language? The brother performing if in Swedish has a light, jazzy voice. And the theme to take the leap now and expand your ministry before you lose the opportunity is very timely.

Let’s Take the Leap is the title of this month's original song. I find it kind of catchy. If you do too and would like to listen to it on your cell phone all day, you can download an mp3 version from my small song collection.

Enjoy... :headphones:

It was catchy, because they wanted to motivate us to take the leap if we can. I know I was loving the song. Very good job on that. Music goes a long way in affecting mood and outlook, and even motivation.

I really enjoyed the comparison with us being late and Jehovah. Would we be OK with Jehovah allowing this system to go on longer than necessary? Better late than never, right? Really good use of illustration.

Yea, Knock, Knock is on the Broadcast. No more looking at a skewered video taken from the side. Much better!

I didn't understand your comment... Could you develop that a bit...?

Skewered is not really the right word. Askew or Cockeyed would be more accurate. When taken from the side the picture is not framed correctly.

Compare the two pics. Top from hand held camera to right of center and original film on bottom.

Let’s Take the Leap
JW Broadcasting—September 2017

To serve full-time, that’s been our goal.
It opens up more ways to serve whole-souled.
So if not now and if not here,
This chance might slip away and disappear.

Let’s take the leap; Let’s not hold back.
Let’s not give in to doubt; Let’s not miss out.
We’ll go in faith, Not looking back, not behind.
Let’s look ahead With peace of mind.

Jehovah knows; Jehovah sees.
Before we ask, He knows the needs of each.
Though it might seem beyond our reach,
Let’s put our trust in him and take the leap.

Let’s take the leap; Let’s not hold back.
Let’s not give in to doubt; Let’s not miss out.
We’ll go in faith, not looking back, not behind.
Let’s look ahead with peace of mind.

So let’s go through this open door.
Things left behind will be replaced and more,
Not only now but all that God has in store—
The life to come forevermore.

Let’s take the leap; Let’s not hold back.
Let’s not give in to doubt; Let’s not miss out.
We’ll go in faith, not looking back and not behind.
Let’s look ahead with peace of mind.

Let’s take the leap; Let’s not hold back.
Let’s not give in to doubt; Let’s not miss out.
We’ll go in faith, not looking back and not behind.
Let’s look ahead with peace of mind.

Let’s take the leap.

My youngest son, now 25 is going to cringe at this program. In his world view, if you are one minute early, you are on time. He has foregone multiple pay advances because of his attitude. I doubt that even NK bomb would adjust his attitude but I am hoping.

I really enjoyed the knock knock video, some things never change :)

How true.  The message is still the same, and religion is still A Snare and a Racket.  A snare for misleading the masses as to the condition of the dead, for one.  A racket, since it's all about money, all the way down to the clergy divvying up the donations with the biggest haul on easter and christmas.

Shades of Charlie Chaplin,

The slapstick reminds me more of Buster Keaton and that School of comedy.

Of course, this is not true for ALL religion.

What are the origins of the Knock Knock video?

edit

8 minutes until I listen to the meeting. I’m already late!

The cockeyed video has been on Facebook and YouTube since 2014. Somewhere on the Forum is a link. Now with the Sept. Program we can watch the original video in HD.

Knock Knock was created for entertainment for the invited guest to the 2014 Atlanta, GA Convention.

It tells the story of one family's memory of coming in the Truth.

We watched the broadcast for our family worship. The part on punctuality was very difficult for me.

My tongue is sore from biting it, my eyes ache from staying focused on the video and my face hurts from being frozen in place...
