Updates to JW Library (iOS, Android, Windows)

All fonts are now the same as jw.org and Watchtower ONLINE LIBRARY
Enhanced support for right-to-left languages
Fixed several bugs, including some that were causing the app to crash

Re: latest update: I haven't seen this on my device yet, but Windows and Android users have the related videos at the end each Study in the 'Apply Yourself to Reading & Teaching' brochure.

It seems apart of the brochure update. From my android tablet.

Just checked mine - it's also 12.1.31 (75850) - and it still crashes on the calendar ☹️

Did your catalog also update?

 

Not sure what was causing the crash - just checked mine again and it still works as designed   no crash

It's solved... Uninstalled, reinstalled. Took half an hour to get everything as it was. But all ok now. Don't you love technology 🙂

Not really an update from JW Library - but an awesome feature if you’re using iPad and update to iOS 14. 
 

You can now use your pencil in ANY text field. After writing, it will convert it to regular text.

Quick question re: JWMerge.  What if I have a note on Genesis 1:1 on my phone, and a different note on the same scripture on my iPad?  

 

When I combine the backups into a single file using JWMerge, will I now have 2 notes on the same scripture?  Or will one override and replace the other?  

 

And what will happen if I highlight the same verse but using different colors on each device?

JW Library on iPadOS:

I’ve noticed that the Apple Pencil can select text, but not not click a verse number to get the options.

Meanwhile, the round cursor from the Keyboard with Trackpad can only scroll on the left panel, but can scroll and also select text on the right panel.

This is all fine until I forget what can do what!

(It seems the properties of different text panels throughout iPadOS allow different things with Pencil/Trackpad based on their properties. It will probably take some time until things standardise a bit more.)

Are you using Ipad IOS-14 or earlier versions?

It will be 2 separate notes.

Running the latest iPadOS beta 14.2 (18B5061e) and I can now select/highlight with the Trackpad on both the left and right panels. 🙂

Hello everyone!🙋‍♂️

Somebody know how to remove unwanted items in "Favorites" section on JW Library?

I mean the one publication Watchtower in polish 

I tried to do this, but don't have idea how to do...

The problem is inside in the backup file I think.

Even if I reinstalled app, clear storage, clear cache, and then restore a backup, is the same... Can't delete..

 

I most often use Android phone (OnePlus 7t).

I also tried to remove this from JW Library on my iPad and Surface pro (windows) and is the same.
