Updates to JW Library (iOS, Android, Windows)

I certainly do not know.  But it does not have to be major changes.  Any changes to the display coding, search features or audio and video enhancements could lead to a need for a more modern and up-to-date OS for the future.

I think that if it was mentioned in this Update it’s because we’ll get it before the next one. So it should take less than 6 weeks or so.

The expected update for WTL app was a long awaited one but has been in use one the JWL Sign Language app now for quite some time now. It adds a nice personal touch to the use of the app.

Based on what I saw on the GB Update #3, here's the possible additional features/changes in the JW Library:

 

- Notebooks [Notes] will be a new feature on Personal Study Tab

- We can choose different colors for  Notebooks

- Playlists for Video, Audio, and Pictures

 

 

Still excited for it..... can't wait hahah and can't sleep.....

Yes, I noticed that there is a different layout in the Personal Study tab.Currently, we have the tags right at the top, and underneath we have the last notes we entered.

 

In the print of the update, we notice the title Tags and Notes, with the tags on top, organized horizontally. Notice that the notes are separated by categories (created by the user) and with different colors (chosen by the user). This is a new feature. And then we have the title Playlists.

 

So I believe that besides the playlist addition, we will have a new layout for the Personal Study tab and probably new features for notes.

 

@jrnievas, thanks for the comment, it has raised my level of expectation. 🤯😂

I do not see any way to add pictures or songs to the playlist that are not already in the Library app.  I can't load a picture that I use in my Public Talk if it is not already on the servers.

That's right, as I understand it, for a talk, for example, you will be able to add images that are available in all JW Library publications that are downloaded.

 

From the information, I still don't see any option to upload an external media to the JW Library.

If you use JW Library Sign Language, it has an option [in the Playlist tab] to add "videos" from internal/external storage... You can put it to your 'Playlist' in the JW Library Sign Language app...

 

I don't know if that's option will be added to JW Library...
