Updates to JW Library (iOS, Android, Windows)

My Windows version updated on Jan 13th to version 13.4.59

I wonder why the new IOS version is only 13.4.1

 

My Android device was updated on Jan 11th to version 13.4

It just seems strange.

The Bible updated on JWlibrary this morning

I thought it might be the recently mentioned updates to appendix B, regarding the last week of Jesus earthly life.

 

When I try to open the appendix on my phone and tablet, after they both updated, I just get constant buffering

 

Any one else?

I have the same problem so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again... Without result.

If you open B11 and swipe left to get to B12, you get the previous version of it.

 

But TEXT mode get you the new version.

I think it was just made nicer to look at and easier to understand in text mode.

If so, where are they stored in jwlib, jwpub, pdf versions?

I really do not know exactly where they are stored - I only know where the ones written on the paper copies are stored

I just open the app and saw a big change to the Teaching Tool Box. 2 Brochures added and the tracts are gone. In April 2021 once the New book and brochure were added the Tracts were still there also was the Listen and Live Brochure.

The audio files for the book of 2 Chronicles is now available for download, which completes the audio version of the revised NWT!

That was a huge amount of work. Didn’t they say there were around 1,000 voices?

There was a minor bug-fix update to JWLIBRARY today.

That new update worked for me.

Mine hasn't updated as yet (it is the 5th April for me) and it had no issues a even saw the notice at the top.

I didn't want to tee any chances.

Even after the update, I simply used vlc to screen share to the zoom audience.

This reminded me of an announcement in the Play Store warning that the JW Library would no longer work on Android 4.4. Does anyone remember if there were any major changes in this update?

 

Knowing that it will stop working on Android 5.1 and 6.0 makes me think of a big change! 😁
