Did you read the article?

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

This a sad story. A Chinese young man on Australia had a bad  car accident and was brain dead in life support. His mum in China, not from the virus area, couldn’t come in to Australia to say goodbye before life support was turned off because the bans from Feb 1. However, the Minister intervened on compassionate grounds to let her come under strict supervision to see her son one last time. Tragic.

China ignores offers of help from C.D.C. and W.H.O.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has offered for more than a month to send a team of experts to China to observe its coronavirus epidemic and help if it can. But no invitation from China has come — and no one can publicly explain why.

The World Health Organization, which made a similar offer about two weeks ago, appears to be facing the same cold shoulder, though a spokeswoman said it is just “sorting out arrangements.”

A possible reason, experts noted, is that outsiders could discover aspects of the outbreak that are embarrassing to China.

For example, the country has not revealed how many of its doctors and nurses have died fighting the disease.

How could you possibly provide adequate care in a warehouse hospital like that?  :(

Hopefully, it is a pic taken before the beds were placed into rooms with bathroom accessibility.  There was no caption for the photo.

I was reading Africa is not prepare for this. Now that is real scary.

Yes, that's what I read too. Plus, there is a locust infestation under way in East Africa, which, it is feared, may lead to famine. There are quite a few countries on the continent that are struggling with malnourishment as it is. Famine will make the effects of a virus outbreak worse as it knocks down immunity even further.

"At the WHO we're not just battling the virus, we're also battling the trolls and conspiracy theories that undermine our response," he added.

"As a Guardian [newspaper] headline says today, 'Misinformation on the coronavirus might be the most contagious thing about it'."
