???  Insinuations aside, this topic is open to the public and it only seems logical that there would be some that are unconvinced and overconfident. Even among our members there may be some that are over confident.

So someone in my household has symptoms now... it may just be a cold, or a typical virus, but we have to be checked. Ordered a home test kit to do it ourselves.

Well, the numbers alone are somewhat misleading (not that you're doing the misleading because you're just sharing the information).

 

Yes, Florida confirmed 15k new Covid cases, but that's in part because they tested 142k people in one day, and their positivity rate dropped from 18 percent 2 weeks ago, down to 11 percent as of today.

Yeah my mom has the symptoms, she's quite ill with it, and it's worse because she had an couple of operations about five months ago (which she's still recovering from). But now I'm also beginning to get the symptoms of a dry cough and a lump in my throat that makes you feel like your throat is closing up (which is what my mom is also getting).

Oh we've been provided for, we've been quarantined for months. Family brings up what we need as I don't get out the house and my mom has been unable to since her hysterectomy.

Yep, that's the point I wanted to make.

It's nice to see on the chart, that the percentage on 11 July was the lowest ratio. But the sheer bulk tested resulted in a huge number.

Sadly, there is still a lot of cases out there...

The experience of Melbourne shows it doesn't take long to spread if you let your guard down.
