What's for dinner?

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine introduced to me recently a new favorite of mine.

Indian Saag Paneer.

It's spinach mixed with various spices, cream and chunks of semi-soft Indian cheese. I didn't think I'd like it based on the spinach in it, as I'm not keen on greens and veg (both in texture and taste), but it's really nice. It may "look" like frog spawn, but it certainly doesn't taste like it.

🤣🤣

It really doesn’t look great, but it tastes amazing! It’s a favourite of mine too.

Your pic looks more appetising than the ones I’ve eaten. Still yummy though.

Looks good to me 😊

I've been enjoying keto French dressing.  More than enjoying, it's amazing! I had 6 small Romain leaves and half a cucumber. I just dipped them in it, oh yum. Instead of wine vinegar I used Braggs ACV, helps with digestion.

I'm also into beans lately. (I can't really eat them but Lew and Br. Chuck love them)  Made spicy sausage, beans and rice for supper yesterday. Was a hit.

Have been going through the pantry to use up what needs to be. Saw I had a bunch of great northern beans and split peas. Think I'm packaging most of them in Mylar with oxygen absorbers. But some I'm making into Boston Baked Beans or just cooking up a bunch and freezing them for bean with bacon soup for later.

Here's the recipe I'm going to use for baked beans. If someone else has  better recipe for Boston Baked Beans made from dry beans, not canned baked beans, I'd be very interested. Its been a goal of mine to get good at Baked Beans, I know its weird but I really want to get good at it 😆

Oh my Days - that bean recipe sounds Smashing! 😃👍🏽 Must give it a try. I have a lot of beans in my ‘disaster/or GT’ pantry, and I admit I wasn’t sure what to do with them…
