Correct

it goes with most research been done so far

So is there any one in particular that you would recommend for the elderly with respiratory problems and a blood clotting disorder?

Not really.

I dont believe the issue is in the vaccine it self, but in the viral portion (no matter if it´s protein spike part; mRNA portion, or even the whole innactivated virus).

I believe the smaller the viral portion less reactions expected, still the reaction depends a lot on your imune system and that is a lot genetic. You dont have much control on that....

As for the cloths, I strong believe that women that take estrogen birth control pills are in higher risk.

If you dont take them, the risk is much lesser.

So... choose a smaller viral portion vaccine; dont take estrogen birth control pills, pray for your imune system do not over react to the viral part.

Some rare reactions to the vaccine excipients are also documented... rare. but possible. again you cant control it. It´s all up to your own body. usualy the person is advised to wait a few minutes at the finicity to check for anaphilaxis.  😉

Thank you Sofia. I guess the smaller portion viral portion vaccine would rule out the Johnson & Johnson then? It was what I had in mind but seeing it's the one time shot it might be a larger portion. Also, an acquiantance recently told me that she had the J&J and after the second day had migraine headaches everyday for 6 weeks. I have always been a migraine person so that didn't sound very encouraging, especially added to the blood clotting disorder which thickens the blood already.

No worries about the birth control pills..🙂

From what i remember and understand...

Corona virus is a virus.

Covid 19 is a complication that can happen associated with a corona virus infection.

Many don.t get the complication.

The vaccines also have complications.  Not everyone should take them.

From my sources the vaccine compications involve the blood...and clotting issues...

Besides Pfizer jab has not the whole portion of the rna that encodes the spike protein

this was very clever

since the spike is not interely encoded the side effects are minor

the worse possible covid  vaccines existing are the ones containing big parts or even the whole inactivated virus

the consequences of the presence of that in the body is unpredictable due to unknown reaction from the imune system

Oooh

complications from corona are very far much more than that

corona reactivates herpes virus inside you if you have it inactivated

causing severe suffering

it can trigger auto imune diseases

Anti bodies against the corona surface rich in phospholipids can attack your own body phospholipids causing severe damage in foetus unborn children and even nervous system

All these are causing long covid syndrome

feeling tired migraines headaches Mialgies astenia numbness in toes and fingers double vision insomnia

palpitations tachycardia etc etc etc

the virus isn’t there anymore but the imune system was triggered 😳

Fortunately! Yes most don’t

It’s a personal decision.
we all must respect that

from my experience catching covid is far worse than a vaccine complication

Got the jab? No symptoms? Good

if you had covid you probably had a mild infection or even assymtomatic

Got the jab? Felt sick? Complications? Imagine if you had COVID!! You would probably ended up in ICU with oxigen, in coma … or even …dead 😳

Do you know which ones they are?

There's several reasons why I am hesitant to get the vaccine, not because I don't want to per se, but underlying conditions..

Age, Factor Leiden V, a blood clotting disorder, and auto immune...some of the results of that are Graves disease, a thyroid condition...

so I need to take all this into consideration before I can select the vaccine I think will be best for me...

I know the percentage of bad reactions is small, but to the one that has them, it's 100%...

I was more focusing in on the fact its confusing the difference between  corona virus and covid 19....  as many may use the term interchangeably for covid 19; when there should be a distinct understanding that they are different terms.

It may be best to talk with your doctor to see if he has some recommendation for the best vacinne for your particular health condition ... none of us here on the forum have these details

Right

- sars cov 2 the virus

- covid 19 the disease it causes

Since yesterday I am on the phone with my dear friend from the congregation, who is enduring pronounced side effects from second dose of Pfizer. We were worried that he needs to go to the hospital but this morning side effects are easing off... hopefully by the afternoon he will be ok.

Interesting that in some countries the Pfizer vaccine was more lethal than the AstraZeneca one.

https://en.mehrnews.com/news/174034/Pfizer-vaccine-led-to-more-deaths-than-AstraZeneca-Report

Quote

According to the statistics submitted by the governments and related medical agencies, France registered 45.3 fatal cases per million doses for Pfizer versus 17.9 for AstraZeneca. For Germany, the numbers are 29.9 versus 6.5, respectively, for the UK — 20.7 and 24.2, Norway — 164.3 and 44.6, Austria — 47.5 and 7.5, and Italy — 10.9 and 7.3.

This article was posted in April 2021 but it compares figures of COVID vaccines to the number of deaths from the flu vaccine.

Side effects chart

Quote

18-44 year olds with a mortality rate due to Covid-19 of approximately 0.0014% (i.e. 1.4 / 100,000 people) and 45-64 year olds with a mortality rate due to Covid-19 of 0.010 About% (i.e. 10 / 100,000 people) (67.06 million inhabitants in 2019, 8% of the 96,650 official deaths from Covid-19 in France are under 18-64 years old [ 8 ]).

It can therefore be seen that the fatality rate assumed due to the Covid-19 vaccine for 18-44 year olds is identical to the mortality rate due to the Covid-19 disease for the Pfizer and Astrazeneca vaccines, or even higher (Table 1) of a factor of 7 for the Moderna vaccine. Without confusing mortality and lethality, however, the use of Covid vaccines for this age group in view of the other potential serious side effects is difficult to justify.

I'm in the same boat. I want to get vaccinated, but I'm also hesitate due to existing health problems and because I can not have the flu vaccine, not due to allergies but again, health conditions.  So yes, although the severe and /or fatal reaction percentages are small in comparison, the reactions are in the same categories of my health issues and/or reactions occuring in my family.  I'm keeping it before Jehovah for sure.

In Germany the AstraZeneca vaccine is restricted to only those over 60. One reason supposedly is because stronger immune systems are sensitive to this vaccine, especially women in child-bearing years.

The statistics tell me that a vaccine is important for the elderly to prevent succumbing to death if they catch it. The majority of daily cases of deaths here when it was at its peak were undeniably from only the elderly.  (I read the daily news report and in my area they gave the numbers and ages of ones who died, and who were on average 60 -90 years old)

One older sister I know went for Pfizer and has auto-immune issues, and other health problems but despite her health problems got the vaccine and is fine.

TBH I wasn’t concerned about the efficacy of the vaccine, but for other reasons as to why I chose to get vaccinated, and with J&J.

I know my doctor and think she would say any of them are fine as long as I get one. I was asking which are the most dangerous of those two categories that Sophia mentioned, not one by name that I should take. I wouldn't put that responsibility on her..I went to Wiki and even on the internet anywhere, there is pro and con to all of them...I feel right now it's just a chance you take which one you choose...

I also have a severe immediate allergic reaction to the flu vaccine and I can no longer take it and so naturally I was very worried about the covid vaccine... however my doctor reassured me that it is a very different vaccine and doesn't contain the component in the flu vaccine that I react to....   he actually said that if you are allergic to injectable steroid (into joints etc) or anesthetic then he would advise to definitely not take the covid vaccine...

His secretary also is allergic to the flu vaccine but had the covid vaccine OK.... and so I had the Pfizer jab on the 12 May and three weeks later recieved my second dose... they made me wait afterwards for 30 minutes just in case but I was fine.... and I've been absolutely OK since then,  I didn't even have a sore arm!!

The only reaction I had after the first jab was an upset tummy but I think part of that was nerves as I didn't get that or any other reaction after my second shot.... I would advise anyone to go for it and if in doubt discuss it with your Doctor

I read that one of the vaccines can reactivate the herpes virus. I had a severe case of shingles about 6-7 years ago  so much that I couldn't attend my grandson's funeral, so I'm also thinking about that...

Yeah I'm not allergic to the flu shot.  I can not have the flu shot due to family history (GBS) of Guillain-Barre syndromeIn addition, I have other ongoing health issues that put me at high risk for severe reactions.  My Dr did order a blood test last week to see where my levels were at.    Sadly, my results make vaccines questionable at this point.  We were hoping.
