It has become very popular for some restaurants to serve a deconstructed food item on their menu. I heard there is a new Chinese restaurant that will serve just deconstructed food, it's called "Wok Backwards"

:lol1:

Have you got the new Chinese cook book?

“50 Ways to Wok your dog.'

I remember many years ago, there was a local needs part on commenting at meetings, and the brother conducting the part was also the Watchtower conductor.

He asked all in the Kindgom Hall to raise their hands, which those in attendance rose their hands like the "D - the confident". Then he remarked, "Why is it that when I ask for a raise of hands, everyone has a straight arm. But during the Watchtower, most will raise their hands with a bent elbow? Or even worse, they would just raise their finger up from the wrist only?"

Whilst he acknowledged that some of the elderly ones may have issues raising their hands up high, but most of the "able-bodied" ones were the majority of what he called them as "elbow-benders" or "wrist raisers", and he made the hand gestures of how these ones put up their hands. He said that those who are "elbow benders" or "wrist raisers" who felt that they are being overlooked of being asked for their comments, it is because that he cannot see their hands in the first place, as their "raised hand" is hidden behind the person who is seated in front of them. He then suggested to make it easier for himself and also other brothers who have Q&A parts from the stage, and also those who are on the roving microphones, it is best to have your hands raised higher then the person's head that is seated in front of them, even if you have to do the "alien antennae", "bunny ears", or "deer antlers" behind the brother/sister seated in front head if they feel that they need to grab his attention.

He done the part in a loving way, and at times, he had the whole congregation in laughter. He acknowledged that there are those who may be shy, infirm, etc, about raising their hand. Most of the elderly ones actually sat in the front rows, and he joked that they get called on more because he can see their hands being closer to him, but he has think twice, as some do give a public talk with their answers too (he said this from the stage). He added if a brother/sister are wishing to answer a particular paragraph etc, feel free to approach  him or the conductor of a particular part before the meeting, and they would note it down and look out for their hand when it came to that part of the meeting.

What really made it funny, after this local needs part, another brother conducting the next part asked a question to the audience, and the Watchtower conductor put his fingers up behind another elder's head in front of him as "chicken comb" wiggling his fingers in a wave motion, and the brother on the stage just started laughing when he saw it, as the brother who was seated in front of the Watchtower conductor was this brother's father-in-law, who generally was regarded as by-the-book type of character.
