US Election Outcome

Recommended Posts

I have been watching all of this WAY TOO closely!!!

https://www.natesilver.net/p/nate-silver-2024-president-election-polls-model

I don't think it is a matter of neutrality, but one of justice. I keep feeling like the former president should have to deal with the same type of justice as everyone else. He has an amazing ability to keep postponing things until justice is irrelevant. Like the saying goes - justice postponed is justice denied! AND it is not just in the recent things he has been indicted for – it is in the numerous illegal things he has already been convicted for, but he is able to appeal and appeal and put off accountability until the other party either runs of money or time (as in they die before he actually has to pay). AND by pay .. so many are giving him so much $$$ that he really won’t even be paying when he finally does IF he only faces monetary punishment.

If Mr. Trump becomes President Trump again – then that will be yet another delay or possibly complete annulment of any judicial action for the things he has been indicted for. It seemed like the document case would have been a simple one, but it is now going to be LONG delayed.

I feel I can’t be the only one who has had these feelings – so, I thought I’d post them and add this:

But where is justice in this system? And should I want it in a world controlled by the devil? It’s like wishing this system WAS ran correctly – and then realizing if it was then people would think demonic rule works. But it doesn’t and never will -so, STOP wishing it would. I need to stop watching and focus on where TRUE JUSTICE comes from. AND hope for the best outcome for EVERYONE – as Jesus already paid the price for ALL that are willing to take advantage of his payment!!! (See Psalm 73)

Whew! I needed to get that out!!

Anone else feeling this way???

I'm in Canada, so I don't have the desire to look too much at US news. But I do hear news from there now and then. It seems I hear it on Canadian news media too, whether I want it or not. But yes, I hear you! I get where you're coming from.

According to what I hear, Trump is saying that if he's voted into office again, then those who voted for him will never have to vote again. Whatever that means. But I think just a month ago, he was saying at a rally: "I don't need your vote." He said he's got plenty of votes, and so doesn't need any more. Well, a news commentator suggested that Trump is going to go in and take over the White House again, no matter what the outcome of the election!

We've also heard that Trump wants to be a dictator, at least for "day one." I wonder if that means the US is going to be a dictatorship in a short while.

I don't think so. What we do know is that the US and Great Britain comprise the "King of the South," and that this King will be a dual world power. Would Trump as a dictator change that scenario? Of course, no one knows in advance what the election will say. But we do know that the King of the North and the King of the South will still be here when the end comes, still arguing, still accusing each other, still struggling for world domination. I personally don't think Trump (or anyone else) is powerful enough to change what Jehovah has indicated will come to pass.

I feel this way, but for both sides.  What about president Biden's documents at his house?  What about the cocaine that was found at "the most secure building in the world", that they "can't figure out who it was for"?  What about Hunter's conviction?  There's more, but I'm just sticking with what mainstream media "agrees" on....  :whistling:

Both sides are rotten to the core, and both escape true justice.  And when you boil it down to the nitty gritty, there's nothing we can do about it.  So while it is natural to feel pain from seeing injustices and whatnot....this pain serves no purpose.  In a normal situation....pain teaches.  It teaches you not to touch a hot stove.  It teaches you not to pet a wild animal.  It teaches.  This emotional pain teaches nothing, other than the solution is not found on earth.  And again, there's nothing we can do about it.  So why worry?

Why even care?  Care assumes you have some control, some mitigation you can take.  What will you do if Trump wins?  What will you do if Harris wins?  Anything different???  Then why care?  What purpose does it serve?

But it is good to know who's winning for the stock market.  :raspberry:

We tend to refer to this election as "The Great Comedy Show" ... especially since it doesn't really matter who wins - Jehovah will do his thing either way.

i don't think Harris  is going to win, due to the fact the USA is not ready for a women president

and you are rite about one thing  comedy show I got some pop corn for it to 🍿

That's not what I'm hearing. Plenty think a woman president can run the country better. Or are voting for her because of her "credentials" : she's a woman.

And I think it will happen just to say "humans tried everything". A woman president for the first time ever for a super power.....and then the end will come.

That shows what a comedy show this is and how fickle people can be. It seems that younger people like her while some older ones like him. Oh well, Jehovah doesn't like either of them!

It’s hard to not hear the things. I mean, we have to check some news and no matter how many terrible things are going on with normal people, we have to hear every minute detail of the hot mess this election is.
I remember when I thought it couldn’t get any worse than the Sarah Palin fiasco then Trump showed up and instead of one ring he brings all three rings to the circus. And I’m only saying that in the sense both of these people seem to cater to a bombastic, in their own little world style of talking and thinking.
Meanwhile, half the country thought Obama was a Messiah and the other half (mostly where I live) thought he was evil incarnate.

Oh for the days when all of it was mostly behind closed doors…..only so we didn’t have to hear every single thing. Even all the conspiracy theories…every random theory someone comes up with turns into a debate.

Oh and the only countries where anything matters are Israel and Ukraine. No one seems to care much for Haiti, stuff going on in Africa or the Rohingya situation.

This system is disgusting in so many ways.

Mostly I can’t take it and leave the news off.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

Did you guys hear about the political initiative called “Project 2025” put forward by the Heritage Foundation?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_2025

A couple years ago Trump gave a speech at the Heritage Foundation's Annual Leadership Conference, where he praised the organization for its efforts to shape conservative policies and alluded to the importance of their forthcoming initiatives.

Quote

During this speech, Trump referred to the Heritage Foundation as a "great group" and suggested that their work would be crucial in laying the groundwork for the conservative movement’s future actions. Although he did not mention Project 2025 by name, his comments were seen as supportive of the Foundation's broader goals and the kind of conservative agenda that Project 2025 aims to implement

During the CO talk at the end of our MWM this week, he mentioned the election and our neutrality. He gave a couple "what if I said" comments and wrapped it up with, "What difference does it make ... they both have the same father - and we know who that is!"

I totally get what you are saying.  I watched bits of both the republican and democratic conventions.  Of course, I don't care who wins but I noticed that at the democratic convention there is a unity and inclusiveness message, a tolerance and acceptance of everyone and every lifestyle.  It makes me wonder if that message will become a worldwide message. Will that message be the cause of the fall of the divisive BTG.   If so, than it will definitely take courage to preach a message that contradicts.

I feel we are definitely on the cusp of major change no matter who wins the election.

Seems I recall Brother Jackson gave a talk not too long ago saying we shouldn’t even offer our opinions Also we offering an opinion, naming the current political figures.

Sad to say, but the USA is split in half......from what Iv’e heard here and around, I would say the opinions of many brother and sisters is also divided. We can see how this could be a major problem for unity. The only way to maintain our unity is stay out of the mix completely.

Not easy, but necessary. As was brought out nicely here......they are all part of the Wild Beast and feet of the Image who get their authority from the “dragon”........ So they will all have to Go.

Now that being said.....I think that Democrat running will win, and be the one to move to ban religion. She hates Israel, she loves for women to have the right to kill babies, even later in the pregnancy. Inflation will soar and get even worse with all the Government spending that will only increase.

Re 6: 5 “A quart* of wheat for a de·narʹi·us*+ and three quarts of barley for a de·narʹi·us; and do not harm the olive oil and the wine.”+

More violence in the streets, more problems over seas etc.....  I think she’s the one that fits the bill.   IMO. :coffee:

Kind of like Sting's lyrics in one of his songs:

You could say I lost my faith in the people on TV
You would say I lost my belief in our politicians
They all seem like game show hosts to me
