Works fine for me too. You will find any proxy setting under control panel | internet options | Connections | Lan settings | proxy server

Some spamware changes these setting in order to redirect http requests. another place it can target is your DNS settings.

Well, I get that message (about my internet connection) if there are no updates to download, but if there is an update, it just updates, no message.

Update #7 (I think) is available now.  If you have set "automatic" updates it is probably already happening.

this saved me.  I needed the latest watchtower and my internet was down.  but 2016 standalone library had it.  i was happy.

I wonder why the Romanian edition doesn't have any updates. Daniela, Adelin: do you happen to know anything I don't on this?

I just updated and it says version 9.3...updated on Sept 27th.

That's the JW Library app. We're talking about the Watchtower Llibrary on DVD-ROM for Windows.

I just got the first update for the Romanian edition.

 

It weighs 126,7 MB and contains all the publications up to December 2017.

Tomorrow will be one month since Update 7, maybe we will receive update 8 very soon bringing us some new 2018 publications?

I was expecting a WT Library update this month, however looks like December now, this Weekend maybe .. 

Expect we will have gospel of John added to the NWT Study Edition to match the Online Library version. 

Its strange that WT Library is ahead of the JWL regarding the NWT Study Edition, usually its the other way round.

It’s because it was added to WTL as just another publication. JW Library requires some rebuilding to fully utilise the nwtsty in any meaningful way.

With the excitement of the new JW Library update, no one yet. Update 1700 was released yesterday, almost 1gb update for the complete 2017 edition, and new feature.  1701 update adds 2018 publications.

New feature to be able to create a base update package.  Useful for non-internet PC users to get update.

Interestingly , the new book does not show in the publications, but the data files are there.

Great, at last, I have been expecting this update for a while now. Thanks Jonathan for letting us know, i like to use the WTL for research in preference to the online library.

Warp Speed???  It was the longest WTL update I have ever installed.  But it finished well and was complete.....
