Having opened the file of any of the persecuted for the faith, you can get more detailed information about him or her: name, year of birth, current status in the criminal case, current preventive measure, if arrested, then when it happened, how many days he spent in prison where is now, the address for letters.

Brother Lynn, this topic addresses JW prisoners of conscience in that country only?

That is what I understand it to be.  One might expect the list of prisoners to grow considering the thousands of friends of peace in the country.  We have been instructed to use their names in our prayers thus it is helpful to have a bit of info on each one.  jw-russia.org only deals with whats happening in Russia in regard Jehovah's Witnesses.

I understand this thread will only be about our Russian brothers.  But it's difficult to focus only on one country where our family is being unjustly persecuted and not think of the others, imho.  Well, this is an abbreviated LIST from jw.org for those who wish to include them in their prayers.

Eritrea: 53

Russia: 27

Singapore: 10

South Korea: 192

Turkmenistan: 7

Total: 289

Our prayers continue for all of Jehovah's servants currently incarcerated. :praying:

Thanks @rocket for adding this here. The information that you and others have already gathered is of benefit to us all. We now have a base for a plan of action on a personal scale.

We now have names and contact address. Plus their pictures with more information. Certainly as you have all stated they should be in our prayers.

The Hezekiah video always sticks in my mind in that he took the threatening letter and layed it before Jehovah at His house.  He then pleaded with Jehovah.

We are living in a different time but the principal of this is certainly worth thinking on (personally)

Thanks also to @Tortuga @Omoyeme for your comments.

I don't know. There's nothing on that page to change it to English.

Sorry about that, I assumed everyone had a pop-up with the option to Translate.  Are you using Chrome browser?

Never mind, it seems too much hassle to bother.

Wow this is great.  Will definitely use this to write letters to a few of them for our next Family Worship Evening.

Great idea, Brother Luis!  When I wrote Brother Christensen, the directions said that your letter will not get through

to him if you mention Jehovah's name, or mention the Russian government or anything about his unfair imprisonment.

I don't know if it is the same at every prison, but it wouldn't hurt to keep that

in mind.  The guards preview the prisoners' mail.
