The Mysterious Coronavirus Spreading Worldwide

Sometimes I feel that people will only be satisfied to call this a pandemic and stop arguing over safety precautions, if everyone starts dropping like flies. 😢. Things can be bad without 9 out of 10 dying. 
Jehovahs view of safety is put the rail up before someone falls down. As soon as you know the bull is dangerous, protect everyone from it.

Was just rewatching the first Society Corona Update with Stephen Lett. One comment made was the Brothers shouldn't spend too much time watching the news and getting depressed. But we've also just watched the concluding 148th Gilead broadcast where Br Morris said when he's with the Coordinator's committe discussing the disasters taking place he encourages them "Things will get worse", he then explains why he's not worried about Covid19 etc because the Scriptures plainly warned us that this was coming.

 

What we're doing on this thread is:

A) Discussing the fulfillment of prophecy building up our confidence that as Br Lett said "We're in the Final Part of the Final Part of the Last Days".

B ) Reminding each other that whatever we see the one's around us doing we continue to follow the Societies Guidelines so as to protect ourselves and others. (After all, it's the comments on this thread that has started me wearing a mask while at work, not to protect myself but to protect others so that Jehovah doesn't hold me bloodguilty. That said, wearing a mask for 8 to ten hours at work, less breaks, is difficult so I can never condemn those who don't).

 

However, if anyone finds that this is becoming

C) A depressing and soul destroying examination of human's inability to rule and at times act sensibly, ... well really, the Society guidelines that I'm also applying regarding this thread is to limit how much time we spend here. There are many wonderful area's on this forum which discuss purely upbuilding experiences topics etc (the Meetings in Areas affected by Coronavirus being a particularly good antidote for this thread), that for my own emotional, spiritual and mental well being I also go visiting.

Was reading a news article online, BBC or NBC or CBC app and several people who had milder cases end up in cases that sound an auful lot like the symptoms of ME/CFS. Extreme fatigue, pain every where. Affecting the brain. With ME it is thought that a virus goes into the brain and disrupts the HPA axis of glands. This usually leads to heart and pancreas problems along with immune dysfunction.

Again it sounds as though the body only has so many ways of expressing its reaction to viral overload.

That was a real eye opener. Thank you Lewis. For me, it doesn’t create fear, but substantially refutes that humans can ever solve this or any other health problems. It reinforces just how close to the end we are. 
 

This is the stuff of nightmares. Just so long as we cling to Jehovah, he will get us through this. We expect things to get a lot worse as the scriptures predict.  No matter what, we stay close to Jehovah.

I keep thinking, after hearing of more potential plague strains,  if we only knew of all the things going on in this tired, broken system we'd just collapse from the stress of it. I'm so grateful Jehovah has given us guidelines to live under, even tho some balk and complain. We...are...safe as long as we listen to the God who sees it all, every little nasty bit. Jehovah has proven his saving power, I dont need to quote scripture,  we all know how awesome he is.

So if there is indeed another plague coming the 'stay in place' advice from Jah makes perfect sense. He saw it first.

Of that, the U P:    There have been 161 confirmed positive cases and 18 deaths linked to COVID-19 in the Upper
 Peninsula.

 

60 miles south of me (Delta County) has shot up to 20 confirmed cases. 
 

40 miles or so west of me (Marquette County) has 64.

I too hope no one got infected there and I think it extremely unlikely that any brothers were there.  My friends in Prague are faithfully following fds guidance.
