The Mysterious Coronavirus Spreading Worldwide

I can now see with my eyes of faith how the great tribulation the GB has been talking about for the last few months will hit. The attack on false religion “as I see it” will be because of its wealth after the plunging of the world economy.

I agree..but, in addition; I have often wondered why Islamic nations, Hindus, Buddists, and even democratic nations would agree to destroy their religions..Well, huge religious structures where hundreds of people congregate are proving to provide the scenerio for the transmission of this terrible epidemic. Jehovah took us out of these religions..what a loving God we have! It seems world events are moving sooo fast! No wonder Habakuk prophecied "it will not be late"!!!..Just like I am running to catch the bus, and barely get there before it leaves!! The nations want peace, stability, and security..

Coronavirus Could Cost World $1 Trillion If It Becomes a Pandemic, Analysts Predict

" Those at Oxford Economics reckon an international health crisis could be enough to wipe more than $1 trillion from global gross domestic product. That would be the economic price tag for a spike in workplace absenteeism, lower productivity, sliding travel, disrupted supply chains and reduced trade and investment."

"A disastrous health crisis akin to the 1918 Spanish flu, which may have killed as many as 50 million people, could cost 5% of global GDP, the Washington-based lender said in a 2015 report."

In Chile, there are 260 people being monitored for a suspected coronavirus.

https://www.t13.cl/noticia/nacional/covid-19-260-personas-chile-25-02-2020

Google Translation to English:

The information was revealed on Tele13 Radio by Health Minister Jaime Mañalich just one day after WHO asked to take shelter for a possible pandemic.

According to figures revealed by the Minister of Health, Jaime Mañalich, on Tele13 Radio, in Chile there are 260 people on follow-up for a suspected coronavirus.

"We currently have 260 people under surveillance ... They are in their homes in isolation because that is the measure that has been recommended," he said.

In the radio interview, Mañalich said that of these people in follow-up, there are some with minimal risk of contagion who are in home isolation. "They cannot go out during the 14 days and the most important thing is that, people who can spread, wear masks."

"We are insisting that people get vaccinated against influenza. A 75-year-old person, who has diabetes, turns out to catch an influenza now and then grabs a coronavirus, that person ... the possibility of August is remote," he said. the owner of the Minsal.

On vaccination against influenza, Mañañich explained that the vaccine will be available from March 16 and free of charge for risk groups.

The declaration of the head of Health is known only one day after WHO asked the international community to "focus on curbing (the epidemic) while doing everything possible to prepare for an eventual pandemic."

Hopefully to the extent that they want desperately the wealth of B.t.G.

Can a coronavirus pandemic even be stopped? US warns of ‘severe’ disruptions

"A federal health official warned Tuesday that the deadly coronavirus could cause "severe" disruptions in the U.S. as global experts struggled to fend off the outbreak and avoid a pandemic."

But is it too late?

"Disruption to everyday life may be severe," Nancy Messonnier, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, warned at a news conference Tuesday. Schools could be closed, mass public gatherings suspended and businesses forced to have employees work remotely, she said.

Does anyone know how our friends are doing in South Korea?

Health officials say its not a matter of "if" but "when" the deadly virus will begin spreading in the United States.

Top health officials in the US have warned Americans to brace for the "inevitable" spread of the coronovirus disease that is sweeping the world.

Here in my country, Croatia, Europe, few people get sick. Traveled to Italy to football championship and return infected with virus. So we have covid19 in Croatia, hope it will not spread too much, on other countries..

Those masks are unusable.

Cant sop viruses because are too small.

Only it is good that person with simptoms wear mask to reuce spreading body fluids, and medical personell to..

People buyed all face masks, but for nothing. It wont work. I have antiseptic gel for hands and will use it few times a day, along with soap and water.

The masks are an inconvenience but they are effective.

The N95 mask stops 95% of particles, the N100 stops 99.9 % of particles that are 0.3 microns or larger.

It is true that the corvid 19 virus particles, at 0.17 microns, are smaller than the mask can catch it is also true that it(virus particles) doesn't spread without a carrier, usually water vapor, that the mask does catch, which means that the masks are effective.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/25/business/moderna-coronavirus-vaccine/index.html

Biotech company Moderna says its coronavirus vaccine is ready for first tests

London (CNN Business)US biotech firm Moderna has shipped an experimental coronavirus vaccine to US government researchers just six weeks after it started working on the immunization.

 Now for the bad news:

"But even when proceeding at an "emergency speed," a vaccine would not be available for use for at least a year or 18 months"

"By comparison, it took researchers about 20 months to start human tests of the vaccine for SARS, an older coronavirus, according to a journal paper written by Fauci."

I don't want to panic or overthink this, but I don't think it would hurt to be prepared in case things did get worse (with the flu or any virus for that matter.) I've already had the Type A flu, a viral upper respiratory infection and bacterial pneumonia in both lungs. Don't want to end up in the hospital again, so I think I'll go over my to go bag tomorrow. And I probably need to stock up on masks, gloves, peroxide, etc.

I live in a temporary reality- awaiting the day I wake up to life in the real world!

I read that ozone kills viruses. My husband and I have personal devices...the "Buddy" we bought some years ago. I feel that at the Kingdom Hall they are less distracting than a mask. Today I used it at the grocery store.

From my own personal experience of using plasma cutting devices, and learning about the danger of ozone to people, I would caution you to reevaluate your continued use of this device.

From what I recall, reinforced by some research just now, ozone doesn't kill virus, it just bonds to it so that the resulting clump of molecules falls to the ground where it can be vacuumed up.

Room sized ozone generators will make bad stuff fall out of the air but you don't really want to be in the room while its on. :flowers: love ya Sis, please continue to stay healthy...

Regarding disasters, such as epidemics, our new May Workbook has a question and a request:

Can You Volunteer?

There is an increasing need for help with disaster relief work. If you are willing to volunteer, promptly inform the elders.

I saw an expert on pandemics on tv today. I think her name is Linda Garret. She looked sort of sick. Inflamed eye. I saw her reach for it with her finger, stop, bend her finger, and, with it, sort of pull at the edge of her lower eye. Not actually touching it.
It was sort of a dire interview.
The stock market has fallen around 1,900 points in two days.
The outfits that take care of this type of thing have been raided by the president. CDC used to have stations in 40 countries, now, 10. They had to lay off staff. They say it is as unprepared as it ever has been for a pandemic.
I don’t think the federal government will step up. The president is saying when spring comes, it will go away. (I’m not kidding)

All of you dear friends. Wash hands frequently, and, do not touch your face with them. Especially you mucous membranes. They are telling us to have two weeks food, for the humans, and pets. So you don’t have to go out, if it gets bad enough. Self-isolation.
It can get to us. I think if it gets bad enough, they will not allow large gatherings.

I think Jehovah’s organization has that covered.
The end is ever so close! I think.

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I will just use my mask at the Kingdom Hall. The article I read said that the ozone disables the virus by penetrating the protein layer and therefore can be used to disinfect enclosed spaces..but I can see, and the article did say, it is harmful to breathe ozone. Thank you for your concern..
