Some companies here are starting to mandate vaccines for workers. Among others Qantas has just stated that all its workers must be vaccinated.  It's only a matter of time before this happens across the board for all employees everywhere, particularly for big companies with large numbers of employees.

 

Just an update on @hatcheckgirl - New Zealand has 7 new cases of Covid, 3 of which are linked to NSW.

Well, that’s just the cost of freedom. People are “free” as it were, to not listen or cooperate. 
 

Or conversely, if they are compelled to cooperate, then there is not much freedom.

 

Life is an exercise in trade-offs.

I read a blog post a few years back, from a woman who had moved to Western Australia, I think from England, and she couldn't believe how obedient we are here. One of the examples she gave was how we all wait for the man to go green before we walk across the road.  I went to Victoria a couple of years ago and my daughter and I were shocked at how people over there have total disregard for the green man and jay walk at every opportunity. 😂😂😂

I'm posting here today because I wanted to let all of you know how EXTREMELY disappointed I am.

 

I went and got my second vaccination shot yesterday. Today, I'm not magnetic, I don't glow in the dark, I can't electronically turn lights off and on without actually touching the switch, the Smart TV does not have static when I walk past it and worse it does not display my vaccination code! I had none of those things OMG! Why did I even go and get the shot if I don't get any of those things? I mean think about it - what did I actually get, a sore arm and protection against a severe reaction against Covid if I even get Covid at all?

 

Okay I'm just disappointed that's all. 

 

PS at least I got a day off of work.

Im sorry to be the one to tell you but… you got scammed!

 

Aftter I got my first shot I could talk to Bill Gates over 5G but only in B&W and mono audio. After second shot I could see him in 5K and 16m colors and 5.1 surround sound. (it was Moderna, btw, premium stuff, I'm telling you!)

 

Some folks who got the jabs earlier said that after 3-6 months reception gets poorer and poorer so I may need an additional boost. I hope I can get one in time!

Yep. Thank you Uncle Donald and Uncle Joe.   It seems there wasn't much they agreed on, but they did agree on paying Americans to stay home. Well, at least for a short time.

 

I really did get scammed. Wow!

Actually the transcriber had incorrectly misheard “Canberrans”, who are people who live in Canberra the capital of Australia. (Unlike our @WilliamChew who doesn’t make this sort of muck up 😆).

 

But now, everyone in Canberra have embraced Ken Behrens, and are doing the right thing.
