The yeartext made me think about what is really involved in ‘seeking Jehovah.’ I hear that expression and often associate it with ones who have been searching for the truth and are learning about it for the first time. So I did some research and found this great article about what it means to seek Jehovah.

*** w01 2/15 pp. 18-19 par. 5 Seek Jehovah Before the Day of His Anger ***
You might say: ‘I am a dedicated, baptized servant of God, one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Have I not already met those requirements?’ Actually, more is involved than dedicating ourselves to Jehovah… ‘Seeking Jehovah’ today involves developing and maintaining a warm personal relationship with him in association with his earthly organization. It means getting to know how God views matters and being attentive to his feelings. We seek Jehovah when we carefully study his Word, meditate upon it, and apply its counsel in life. As we also seek Jehovah’s guidance in fervent prayer and follow the leading of his holy spirit, our relationship with him deepens and we are impelled to serve him ‘with all our heart, soul, and strength.’—Deuteronomy 6:5.

How timely is the reminder to seek Jehovah especially at this critical time! I think we have all seen recently how now more than ever we need to be attentive to God’s thoughts and feelings on matters and act on it. And how vital doing so will be in the times that lay ahead. A related scripture, Zephaniah 2:3, reminds us that we must seek Jehovah “before the day of his anger.” Very little time remains for us to seek Jehovah, so how appropriate to be reminded of this now.

My thoughts exactly!

I associate the year text to hab. 3:17,18 - it´s always on my mind

GB says no spiritual food will be scarce for us, and so we have seen lately. So much food for us :)

and also Zephaniah 2:3 - seek, seek, seek...

and then we can be hiden :)

thank you Jehovah!

Eph. 3:20 “Now to the one who can, according to his power that is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive”

If anyone makes a wallpaper of the new text, please share. I keep the 2021 on my phone as wallpaper. Would love to have the next one too! 😊

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

It’s something I noticed a few months ago, but I felt it was worth bringing up now. I’m not sure if this is something everyone knew or not.

If you go and put in the search bar “yt22” in WOL, you’ll get the 2022 yeartext. If you also search for “yt21”, you’ll also get the 2021 yeartext.

Why this may be a good feature:

  • It works for other languages as well. Great if you ever need to search what the yeartext is in other language.
  • The “similar” materials will give you results for study materials regarding year text.

Good to know. I have used some of the older year texts as passwords and the WOL will be a quick way to recall the scripture in case I forget..:whistling:

I tried it on my iphone with and without the quotes and it didn't work...

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

this is absolutly brilliant: "During the great tribulation, Gog of Magog’s forces may try to assault us in our homes. But we can take comfort in knowing that Jesus and his angels are aware of what is happening and will defend us (See paragraph 13)"
