My TLDR: Modern Russia isn't the 'Godless Communists' that some think of, they're closely allied with the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) for power and control. A separate Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) was formed with Ukraine's independence, angering Russians because the ROC was founded in Kyiv. Additionally, the UOC was endorsed by various western politicians and could be viewed as under American influence and weakening Russian influence in Ukraine. Obviously these aren't the sole reasons for invasion, they just add the component of religion to the other factors that are discussed at length in the world's news.

Very, very interesting.  It basically says that Putin is a historian and wants to return to the glory days of 100 A.D. onward.

 

It says that Kiev is their Jerusalem.  That is really profound.  And it helps to understand the persecution we face.

The GB keeps saying to send all contributions to the World Wide Work, they'll make certain that what is needed will be provided (by Jehovah's spirit of course). 

 

Sometimes we really want money to go to a certain place, but it actually ends up making more hassle as that money has to be kept separate from all other money as its moved around. Instead we just join Jesus in trusting the Faithfull Slave to be Discreet.

I am not surprised then at the outrageous corruption that Ukraine has had. For a country so rich in resources to not be more advanced is shocking. I have watched many YouTube’s in the past showing how the common people have suffered extreme poverty, low wages and low pensions. To have such immense wealth, it must blatantly be funnelled to some deep corrupt pockets. This is not unknown, of course, but we can see the need to stay absolutely neutral. Ukraine is not the aggressor, but it is still an oppressor. Satan’s world.

No, not at the present time. “Egypt” is the king of the south, and the king of the south is the Anglo-American world power (only Britain and the United States). What is currently happening to Ukraine finds its fulfilment in these parts of Daniel 11:

 

Verse 40: “[the king of the north] will enter into the lands and sweep through like a flood.”

 

Verse 41: “Many lands will be made to stumble.”

 

Verse 42: “[the king of the north] will keep thrusting out his hand against the lands.”

 

Ukraine is part of “the lands” mentioned here. “The land of Egypt” is distinct from these lands. (Verse 42) Notice, though, in each instance the plural word “lands” is used? Ukraine is the target for now, but Russia and its allies will not stop there. Some of their efforts will be successful, while other countries will “escape out of his hand.” (Verse 41) We keep on the watch to see what will develop.

That is correct... You know I'm going to say "but"... It's slightly complicated.
