Using Artificial Intelligence Wisely as Jehovah’s People
tbica and 19 others reacted to Frere Oliver for a topic
Using AI Wisely — Benefits and Dangers I’d like to share a few thoughts on how AI can be useful, misleading, or even harmful. My background is in IT, and I currently work with AI in the field of health insurance here in Switzerland. I’ve also used it privately for many years — long before it became mainstream. What Is AI? To understand AI, it helps to forget the science-fiction ideas and start with something simple: Large Language Models (LLMs). Imagine you had access to everything ever written. Then someone says, “I am…” You could look up which words most often follow — maybe “happy,” “sad,” “strong,” or “good.” That’s roughly how AI works. It predicts the most likely next words based on patterns in huge amounts of text. As the Insight book says about wisdom: “The Biblical sense of wisdom lays emphasis on sound judgment, based on knowledge.” AI has access to vast knowledge — but not to judgment, empathy, or understanding. When you type “I am sad,” ChatGPT might answer: “I’m sorry you’re feeling that way. Do you want to talk about what’s been going on?” Nice words — but they’re not real empathy . AI doesn’t know what sadness means. It only reproduces what sounds right statistically. Why It Can Mislead Even small changes in wording affect the answer. Ask: “How do you think about having sex with someone you’re not married to?” You’ll likely get a response saying it’s fine if it’s “consensual and respectful.” But ask: “How do you think about adultery?” And it will highlight the sin, moral harm and broken trust. The first danger isn’t even AI’s fault — it’s how we ask . The wording shapes the answer. But there are more subtle risks: The illusion of authority: AI sounds confident even when it’s wrong. Because of its tone, many people take its answers as fact. Worldly bias: AI reflects what most people online believe — not Bible truth. Its “neutral” voice often hides popular moral ideas that conflict with Christian thinking. Privacy concerns: What we type may be stored and reused. For that reason, anything personal, spiritual, or congregation-related shouldn’t be shared. Spiritual desensitization: If someone starts turning to AI for comfort, advice, or “spiritual answers,” it can slowly weaken prayer and personal study. We have an amazing source with the jw.org!!!! Dependency: AI makes tasks quick, but it can dull our own reasoning. Jehovah wants us to “keep testing” things and think deeply — not just accept easy answers. What This Means for Us AI doesn’t reveal new truth. Its output depends on its sources — and those sources reflect human thinking. How we ask determines what we get. So, discernment is key. How to Use AI Safely Our relationship with Jehovah can never go through an artificial agent. But it can help with practical things — for example, improving clarity in writing. I sometimes use it to simplify my own wording. Here’s a small example: My original sentence: “The sinful fall of Adam and Eve in paradise led humanity into a dead end. But God, in His wisdom, knew a way out: the ransom sacrifice.” AI simplified it to: “When Adam and Eve sinned, they brought death to all humans. But God, in his wisdom, provided a way out — the ransom sacrifice.” The meaning stays the same, but it’s shorter and easier to follow — something you appreciate during an assembly talk in the afternoon . In Summary Using AI to find Bible verses or simplify your language can be fine. Using it to learn about the truth or seek emotional support is risky. It’s just a tool — useful when controlled, misleading when trusted too much. Used wisely, it can serve us. Used carelessly, it can shape us.20 points -
2nd image The declaration of “peace and security” will be made shortly before the start of the great tribulation, which will begin with the destruction of Babylon the Great (all false religions). Our publications have also described this declaration as a sign that the great tribulation is about to begin. However, after carefully analyzing this matter, it seems that this is only one of the possibilities. Another possibility is that the declaration of “peace and security” will be made after the destruction of false religion. Why? Let’s examine some reasons. The involvement of false religion in wars The Bible says: “In her [the ‘great prostitute,’ Babylon the Great] was found the blood... of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth.” (Revelation 17:1, 5; 18:24) Throughout history, false religion has promoted wars and, many times, has been the cause of terrorist acts. Thus, it has contributed to wars and violence, not to peace and security. This raises the question: will the declaration of “peace and security” be made only after Babylon the Great is destroyed? Maybe, but we cannot say for sure. What will happen after the declaration of “peace and security”? Paul said: “Whenever it is that they are saying, ‘Peace and security!’ then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3) The study note on this verse says: “Here, Paul indicates that there will be little or no time between the proclamation of ‘peace and security’ and the destruction of those making that proclamation. The destruction will come suddenly, and there will be no escape.” So, it is possible that political governments will make the declaration of “peace and security” after false religion has been destroyed and that soon afterward they will suffer sudden destruction. Jehovah’s people’s reaction when these things happen Paul said: “You, brothers, are not in darkness, so that the day should overtake you like a thief.” (1 Thessalonians 5:4) If the declaration of “peace and security” is made after the destruction of false religion, then Jehovah’s people will know that the destruction of political governments is about to occur. As for political rulers, once they have made the declaration of “peace and security” and are feeling safe, destruction will come upon them suddenly, like a thief in the night — that is, unexpectedly and without warning. — 1 Thessalonians 5:2. So, what do we know? We know that, in the near future, the “ten horns” and the “wild beast” will receive power from God to destroy false religion. This will mark the beginning of the great tribulation. We also know that at some point there will be a declaration of “peace and security.” When will that be? We are talking about two possible moments: the first is before the destruction of false religion, and the second is after false religion has been completely destroyed. Either way, we will have to wait and see what happens. The prophecies in the Bible are fully understood only as they are being fulfilled or after they are fulfilled. — See also John 12:16. What is most important right now is not when the declaration of “peace and security” will be made, but that we continue to be loyal to God. We must stay alert and keep our senses, so that we are prepared not only for that event but also for everything that will happen as the prophecies continue to be fulfilled in the future. — 1 Thessalonians 5:6. Very very true! When I commented last night, I was coming from a personal place of frustration more than anything else...so in rereading my message, I naturally once again feel embarrassed by my overreaction. For that, I deeply apologize. This is why I stay out of conversations like these, I have the natural tendency to hate running in circles in my own head. I have commented on this thread in the past, and thus get all of further responses since. Maybe I need to unfollow this conversation, and it has nothing to do with any of you. I personally get triggered by what I feel is circular logic, even though ironically I do it all the time myself 😂 When I look back at the convention from last night, (the WHOLE scope of the conversation), I felt foolish for speaking up at all because I didn't have the grasp I thought I had on what was being said. That's what I get for working 13 hours and trying to follow along throughout the day, missing key comments or key ideas and then getting frustrated by what I THOUGHT the conversation entailed. As I said, hindsight is 2020...and had I fully read everything, I wouldn't have spoken up at all...so please accept my deepest apologies, my brother @Dhanyelfor running my mouth when I hadn't caught up with it yet!15 points

This is a subject I've been meaning to discuss here for the past two weeks. I've been having a hard time finding non-slanted or non-religious news reports and haven't had the time to sift through the videos and reports, so I've been putting it off. There's a Nigerian brother who’s a former bethelite in my congregation that brought to my attention a few months ago that since 2009, many Islamic extremists have killed tens of thousands of people trying to serve Christ the best way they know how. Some reports say as many as 125,000 Nigerians have been slaughtered. Thousands of Churches have been burned and people are literally being killed for attending church. One man was asked to deny Christ and his hand was chopped off. What amazes me the most about all of this, is despite not knowing the cause of suffering and not having accurate knowledge, many Nigerians still hold fast to their faith and continue to go to church and try to follow Christ. The brother I mentioned sent me a video of a Nigerian politician standing in a mass grave full of dead bodies pleading in front of the camera begging the US or any other country to get involved. He was saying that despite governments denying that a genocide is taking place, the mass grave tells a different story. President Trump has recently spoken on the subject. Who knows if anything will be done about it, but what is taking place is sad and barbaric. Here's two video reports. It's the first is somewhat slanted and the second gets very slanted towards the end of the coverage, but it's coverage nonetheless.13 points

Next Monday, November 3, will be the release of the new JW Broadcasting! I trust we are all looking forward to it. So, with that in mind, we ask ourselves some questions: Who will be the host? What will be the theme? Something tells me the program will not be the same as usual. For one thing, there are no brand new songs waiting to be released on the servers this month! (Usually there is at least one new one, plus a couple of others.) And further: last year, the November Broadcast was the 156th class of Gilead, followed by Part 1 of the Annual Meeting in December. And the previous year, it was the opposite—AM in November, Gilead in December. Do you think it will be similar this year?12 points

I don't think I've seen so much talk and "effort" towards "peace" before. Our current generations understanding does allow at the extreme end of overlap 1 or 2 more decades. (lets hope not). Pray for the anointed to be sealed- kind of the only thing that needs to be accomplished. The new system and kingdom is the major part for earthly class of hope.12 points

I understand your point of view and deeply respect it. Indeed, Jehovah has perfect timing and wisdom, and trusting in that is essential to maintaining faith. However, it’s also important to remember that He didn’t make us spiritual robots, but people with real feelings, limits, and anguish. Each person faces suffering differently — and that doesn’t mean “running ahead of the carriage,” but rather struggling to stay in it, even when wounded. When Jesus was on earth, He didn’t ignore human pain. He wept with those who wept, felt compassion for the afflicted, and never rebuked anyone for expressing sadness, doubt, or weariness. So, speaking about suffering, frustration, or waiting is not a lack of faith — it’s humanity. And recognizing that might be exactly what keeps someone from giving up. Taking into account each person’s individuality, pain, and circumstances is not spiritual rebellion — it’s following Christ’s example: to listen, to welcome, and to understand before judging. True faith doesn’t ignore suffering — it embraces it with empathy and trust in Jehovah God, knowing that every heart moves at its own pace on the path of hope.12 points

hen will the declaration of “peace and security” be made? As mentioned recently in a Questions From Readers article in The Watchtower, soon Jehovah will put it into the hearts of the “ten horns” (all political governments) “his thought”: to give their power and authority to the “wild beast,” that is, to the United Nations (UN). This beast is also called the “image of the wild beast.” (Revelation 13:14, 15; 17:3, 16, 17) Then, the “ten horns” and the beast will use their power to destroy false religions throughout the world. But when will the declaration of “peace and security” be made? Will it be before or after the destruction of false religion? — 1 Thessalonians 5:3. The answer is that we do not know for certain when the declaration of “peace and security” will be made. If we knew exactly, we would not need to stay alert. Jesus only said several times to his disciples: “Keep on the watch.” (Matthew 24:42; 25:13; 26:41) Likewise, the apostle Paul emphasized the need to stay awake in his letter to the Thessalonians. Paul wrote: “Whenever it is that they are saying, ‘Peace and security!’ then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3) Our publications have explained many times that the declaration will occur shortly before the great tribulation begins. ran the first image through chat gpt12 points

Prophecies are now being fulfilled and overlapping as we speak. Being ready is focusing on the work on hand as these prophecies continue to overlapp and confuse many who are searching for the "Aha" moment. Distraction means destruction and, that could easily happen as many of us loose jobs, housing, destructive weather patterns, famine, pestilences, earth quakes, etc., etc., etc. It is hard to keep focus on spiritual matters when we see the world crumbling all around us and beneath us. Being alert is the continuation of trusting in Jehovah, doing His will as He has commanded us to do in spite of all that is on going around us. Granted "it is nerve wrecking" but, no matter how heavy our hearts feel we must continue to endure. One brother said on this forum endurance is not passive, it is in motion, it is trusting, it is having faith.11 points

There are too many false flags of the cry going back for decades for me to pay any attention to it at all. The UN getting power should be fairly obvious and the destruction of BtG will be undeniable. Those are the events I'm looking for - the cry is the cherry on top. Also, the UN could get power very suddenly behind the scenes if they are trying to solve something like the global debt crisis, so I'm not even expecting a lead-up to the announcement. I'm expecting the world to change overnight.11 points -
It is clear that 1 Thessalonians 5:3 is not sufficient to determine when this declaring will happen, before or after the destruction of BtG. I do not see this as very revolutionary. It could be either way. This only serves to emphasize that it is pointless to look to world events for signs of when the end will come. It is impossible to know whether this or that conflict will lead to this P&S declaration or whether this or that could be the reason for the UN finally gaining the power of the kings of the earth. We are much happier as we focus on serving Jehovah now, waiting for our ”God of salvation” (Psalm 25:5).11 points
 -
When thinking about this for years now it seemed to me that declaring P&S could be a very logical step after destruction of BtG. I mostly kept it to myself because it was not supported in publications. Now it seems this becomes officially one of possible options. Interesting indeed.11 points

Ukraine starts imprisoning Jehovah's Witnesses?
Ms. Piffle and 10 others reacted to Dré for a topic
The next announcement from the Branch Committee in Ukraine on October 28, 2025. Dear brothers and sisters! Yesterday, on October 27, the United Parliament of the Supreme Court of Ukraine made a decision on the case of brother Vitalii Kryushenko. In its decision, the court supported the charge against brother Kryushenko. At the same time, the court replaced the punishment of brother Kryushenko from three years in prison to one year on condition, and yesterday, in the evening, he was released from prison. We are glad that on the basis of the decision made by the Supreme Court, brother Kryushenko could leave his place of imprisonment. However, it is very unfortunate that the Supreme Court of Ukraine recognized the offender of the law as a person who, out of sincerity, and on the basis of his conscience, refuses military service. As soon as the full text of the court's decision is received, our legal department, along with the Department of Freedom and Repentance, analyze the arguments of the court decision and prepare the appropriate recommendation for further protection of brothers in the territory of our Branch. In the first century, people did not evaluate the motives and actions of God's Son correctly. Although we can expect a similar situation to us today, we are glad that they are true followers. We ask you to continue to pray zealously for brothers so that they can continue to hold on to the name of Christ. Your brothers, the Branch Committee. Also, we have a pleasant surprise for this announcement, which we can see on our screens. Thank you for your attention.11 points -

I come from a background with mixed experience in the area of persecution and segregation. I started Field Service in October 1949 (76 years ago this month). At the time I was in Illinois (the "Land of Lincoln" and "The Land of Emancipation"). The congregations were integrated for meetings, assemblies, etc. At least once a month there would be a gathering of brothers and sisters at my parents' home listening to jazz LPs with energetic discussion of various jazz musicians popular at the time. Of course many of those who were jazz afficiandos were "colored" (as was the expression then), or nowdays "persons of color." Thus I "grew up" thinking that integration was normal. In 1959 my father's job moved us to Texarkana, Texas. Talk about "culture shock"!!!!! I still remember the first time we went to the local Sears store. I wanted a drink of water. I saw a drinking fountain on the wall and proceeded to go get a drink. All of these people were staring at me with a "wierd" expression. When I walked away I saw the sign over the drinking fountain that said "COLORED." About 20 feet down the wall there was another fountain with a sign that said "WHITE ONLY." I learned how to say "yall" very quickly. I also quickly learned that the last thing the locals wanted was a "smart-alec Yankee teenager" telling them what he thought. The congregations in the area were segregated, as were the Circuit Assemblies. In 1961 my father's job moved him to Pensacola for about three months (just long enough for me to meet a certain young lady). The congregations and circuit assemblies were segregated there as well. After the three months in Pensacola, my father's job moved him to St. Louis. There the congregations and circuit assemblies were integrated. In 1963 I moved back to Pensacola and married the young lady I had met in 1961 (we had our 62nd anniversary this past August). The congregations were still integrated. In 1966 our Congregation was "Host Congregation" for the Circuit Assembly that fall. As "Host Congregation" at that time we were visited by the District Servant and the Circuit Servant for two weeks (the week before the assembly and the week after the assembly). I was "Bible Study Servant" at the time, and as such on the "Congregation Committee" (this was before the Elder arrangement). At a meeting before the assembly between the District Servant and Circuit Servant with the Congregation Committee, the Congregation Servant asked if we could invite the "colored friends" to join us at the assembly. The venue for the Circuit Assembly at that time was the Municipal Auditorium that was built on a pier erected over Pensacola Bay, with parking on two sides (still on the pier over the Bay). The District Servant's comment was to the effect that "What you want to do is a VERY loving thing. But, how would we feel if a colored family was pushed off of the pier into the bay in their car by some locals who were opposed to integration?" A year later there was a District Convention in Montgomery, Alabama. When we arrived the attendants directed us to where to park. After we parked the car and went into the assembly venue we found all of the colored (now black) friends were on one side of the auditorium, and the white friends on the other side. Many years later, when at Brooklyn Bethel for temporary Bethel service, I had the opportunity to talk with the brother who was Convention Servant at that Convention. He told me there had been a bomb threat that if the Convention was integrated the facility would be bombed. After consulting with the Society's headquarters the solution of separating the seating was the best way to avoid any problems with local individuals and still have a Convention. Back to my historical account --- In 1972 the Elder arrangement was instituted for the Congregations. There was a meeting of all elders in Pensacola. At that time there were 25 Elders in all of Pensacola. At that meeting the elders decided to integrate all congregations starting Janurary 1973. This required a group of brothers to get together with a map of the whole county and mark on the map where each member of each congregation lived. Then there were six congregations formed based on where the individuals and Elders lived, to give the same number of publishers and Elders in each congregation as evenly as practical. I was assigned to draft a letter to the Society telling them of the decision of the combined Body of Elders for the city (25 Elders in total at that time) and give the Society a description of territory boundaries for each Congregation along with a map showing the boundaries for the Congregations. All 25 Elders signed the letter to the Society. I was also assigned to go the the Circuit Overseer and tell him what the combined Body of Elders had decided. Thankfully there were no incidents of trouble with "locals" as far as I know. When I talked with the Circuit Overseer about the plan to integrate the Congregations in Pensacola, he said that the Society had been trying to integrate the congregations throughout the South. At that time there was a triangle with it's apex at Birmingham, Alabama, and with its base along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico where congregations were still segregated (with segregated Circuit Assemblies). He said with Pensacola at the center of that triangle base integrating the congregations, it probably would not be long before the rest of the area became integrated. In a few short years all congregations were integrated. I have a cousin who, along with her now deceased husband, spent over 50 years in "the traveling work." She commented one time that in part of the area they were then serving (he was District Servant at the time) that previously integrated congregations had to be segregated because of the Black Panthers (and other similar militant groups) physically attacking brothers because they were in integrated meetings. This situation eventually went away, but it was interesting that at times segregation was the preference from "both sides." Thankfully, those situations have passed. As far as I know there are no more segregated congregations in the U.S., and there have been none for many decades. Reflecting on these memories makes me remember how Jehovah's earthly organization has always wanted equality among his people. But there are times when Satan's system has created problems. When Satan's system creates these difficulties, Jehovah's organization makes the needed adjustments to protect his dear ones and still give all the spiritual food we need. Thanks, Jim10 points

My dad ( now awaiting ressurection) went to prison for not joining the war effort in the early 1950s. I think it was the Korean war ? Anyways , after he got out, there was a huge convention in New York at yankee stadium . I forget the year. He went along with a good many from my local congregation . I remember him telling me it was a time of segregation. Different water fountains had to be used and there was a separation of whites and blacks. etc . After the long convention on the way back he somehow ended up joining a school bus with black brothers heading back south. That bus broke down all along the way. The white and black brothers and sisters all worked together. Jehovah was the common denominator of love, when the world was not. I dont know the details but my dad ended up with the school bus. He drove it on to Texas and it got parked way out in the middle of nowhere off of a country road. Years and years later if we happened to drive that road , trees and brush had grown up all around that school bus and he would say ..there is the bus I rode back from New York with the colored brothers in. 😂It was a good memory for him. A few years ago the bus was removed and junked. It was kinda sad for me. The people junking it had no idea of its history. A worn out bus for Jehovah's people.10 points

More chaos = sooner the end No particular event signifies the outbreak of GT but seeing this world in turmoil is just prophecies being fulfilled in front of our eyes For me, the closeness of the end is not depended on particular world events but how our earthly organization is being shaped and refined by its heavenly part. So I must explain: the comment is obviously ironic, for all the reasons you rightly point out, Sister Jules. I am simply commenting on the moment they are experiencing, according to the video, which seems to bring us closer to what we are all waiting for: deliverance. Seeing them engage in such blatant hypocrisy is quite fascinating. Jews hate Christianity, but they shake the Pope's hand as if it were a gift from heaven. I wonder how all this is possible, what they are thinking when they do this, apart from themselves and the benefits it may bring them. Everything is said in this video. And those poor people waving a Peace sign, waiting for the Pope to look at them, those same people we keep running after, to introduce them to our Jehovah who could also be theirs... it makes me sick, but it is a sign that was foretold, which had to be visible because it is prophetic. That's what I wanted to say, dear Sister. Of course I share your feelings about them.9 points -

When I was in the Key West, Florida congregation in 1957-1960, we had an English congregation composed of mostly White and Hispanic publishers. We had a Spanish congregation that shared our same Kingdom Hall. They were mostly Hispanic (Cuban) brothers. Then we had a Negro congregation that did not meet with us due to segregation. Since this was the 'South', that congregation was referred to as the "Colored Congregation". They were not allowed to meet with us in the same building. The English brothers could go to their meetings and give a talk but not the reverse. As I remember, when we met for District Assemblies we all could meet together. In one of the latest cases, two men in Saransk—Ivan Neverov and Mikhail Shevchuk—received prison terms of seven years and six and a half years for “organizing the activities of a banned extremist organization.” Prosecutors had sought even longer sentences. At least four other Witnesses were convicted in October alone—one fined, others given suspended sentences later converted to imprisonment. Some have even lost Russian citizenship after conviction, including Irina Khvostova of Magadan, whose naturalized citizenship was rescinded in June 2025. In other cases, believers have been deported after serving their terms. Since the 2017 Supreme Court ban on the Witnesses’ Administrative Center, more than 600 believers—living and even deceased—have been convicted. Many endure raids, surveillance, and financial restrictions under “extremism” provisions. Jehovah’s Witnesses maintain that their worship is peaceful and that these prosecutions target faith itself, not extremism. 🔗 Read the full analysis at Eurasia Review8 points

The slave are possibly considering the option of P&S after the destruction of BTG because they simply do not know … I do recall them saying several times that events will likely overlap and that we could easily be shocked by the speed of events! Yes I do think that all of this present striving for peace could be linked somehow…. Maybe their ‘peace’ will be threatened by the churches involvement and that could then cause the UN to be given the teeth that it requires and that in turn will be the end of religion and their so called Peace and Security , who knows ! 🤷♀️ I still think that we are very very close7 points -
Affinity by Canva is software for graphic design, photo editing and page layout. I work a lot with Adobe Illustrator and also with Affinitys software. Adobes softwares costs a fortune but Affinity have been affordable but now it's for free. They have a pro version that costs money. Affinity is powerful and beats Adobe Illustrator in many fields, for example Adobe is really bad when it comes to SVG. But Affinity works perfectly with SVG. I have used Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator in my work but we are migrating to Affinity because it works better, easier and faster. So if you are into graphics or photo editing, give Affinity a chance. https://www.affinity.studio/get-affinity I used it for making entrance signs or what it's called with our meeting days and times. List of field service groups and a lot of other signs and documents for KH.7 points

Basically white, no matter how bad racism in early my days, I intermingled with all. We play, fight, hang out everywhere. It is sad that I see racism at school, work, etc. I could not put up with it. It was wrong, when I was a young, I saw a white boy beating up a black girl because she was black across the street from me by the school. I went over across the street and beat him up. Oh well.7 points -
Please refer back to this week's watchtower study regarding forgiveness...it might open your eyes a little. Jehovah isn't interested in what WE think should or should not be the time of the end...he knows EXACTLY WHAT MOMENT will do the most good to EVERYONE...to finally pull the plug. We have warnings...yes. We are told to be watchful... absolutely!! We have our own personal speculations and reasonings that mix with frustration and a lack of FULL understanding... ABSOLUTELY!!! But does that mean we should endlessly continue to do the exact opposite of what Jesus himself SAID WE SHOULD DO?? Absolutely NOT!! Our job is to SAVE LIVES... nothing else matters more than that. Not even our own sanity...my brother. You WANT TO KNOW WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN...HOW IT WILL HAPPEN?? AND THEN YOU GET FRUSTRATED THAT IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET??? Running ahead of the chariot sucks...it means you are seeing everyone and everything in a blur... because Jehovah isn't there yet. You are racing ahead of the chariot. Congratulations...you just out ran jehovah. But can YOU see...what HE sees? No, so why are you ahead of him?? This is why I stay silent on subjects like this most of the time...because regardless of how tightly we attempt to rein in our own thoughts and feelings...we are inevitably doomed to attempt to outpace Jehovahs chariot...and we will most certainly fail. I don't mean to cause offense to anyone...but everyone on this site has the serious responsibility to understand that THEIR COMMENTS have the real possibility to impact someone IN THAT MOMENT. This subject in particular isn't about what any single individual "THINKS", no matter how much more educated than the rest of us they may be. Jehovah knows what's up... he's fully aware of exactly where we are...and if anyone has to "guess"... I'd rather wait until Jehovah tells me what HE "thinks" will happen. The absolute foolishness of that statement alone should have every single person whispering a prayer of apology to Jehovah...he doesn't NEED our thoughts or "feelings" on any subject...if he chooses to take something we say or think into consideration... AWESOME...but even that has absolutely ZERO bearing on you as a person... it's something Jehovah PUT in you.7 points

It is best, when we post a link, to say something about why it was posted. Why we posted it. What value we feel it adds to the thread. Not to just post a link and figure it speaks for itself. I would gather, since the word "segregation" is highlighted in the link, that this is the portion of the comment, "I’m curious about what congregations in the United States and Europe looked like during these times, especially with segregation and other societal challenges." While segregation was one social issue that was around during that time, there were many other social issues during the 1930's to 1980's that had to be dealt with - including, but not limited to, nationalism, military service, war, prayer in schools, "free love" and a few more.7 points
