Is posting political satire the same thing as having a political opinion?

I just want to be sure I understand the rules here...

CAUTION: The comments above may contain personal opinion, speculation, inaccurate information, sarcasm, wit, satire or humor, let the reader use discernment...:D

I can't speak for Chris but I could imagine that some people in other countries see politics in America as a bit humorous.

I thnk that is generally true.  Certainly the statements by Mr Trump.  He already has a bad image here because of his actions concerning his golf course in Scotland.  This is quite separate to his extreme political views.

There is a danger in viewing politicians and/or views from a non-neutral position.  This is often shown by non-acceptance of criticism of their views.  In the UK, the new 'refreshng' actions of Jeremy Corbyn also pose a threat to our neutrality in our hearts.  He seems to be a man of principle (rare enough in politics) who has a different approach to political debate.

Satan very subtly uses these things to subvert our thinking and feelings, hoping to elicit a partisan response, thus violating our neutrality.

Humour is often a good way of expressing a neutral view as it treats all politicians with equal disdain.

If you talk about climate change some people try to turn it into a political discussion.  If you talk about the economy people try to turn that into a political discussion.

I worked at a research plant that was doing research and was funded by the government.   Several Witnesses worked there.   We knew that a Republicans president might mean cutting the funds.  We had to be careful not to get involved in discussions that would be seen as political.
