Butter late than never..

 

COQUITLAM, BC —
Two men were on a roll unto police said they stopped them with more than $1,400 worth of butter.
Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in British Columbia, police arrested two men, ages 23 and 25, who allegedly had a shopping cart full of butter.

"An employee actually recognized one of these suspects because he had a bit of a reputation as a butter thief," Royal Canadian Mounted Police Cpl. Michael McLaughlin said. "He was a bit slippery to catch."

Reminds me of a story from Toronto many years ago.

There are lots of Newfie jokes (  Newfoundland )

This one happened to be true.

 

2 men were arrested trying to hot wire a car.

 

Car had no engine - noticeable in the picture that accompanied the article- the front end was high.

 

They were from Newfoundland  ( Newfies ) 😕
