Sounds about right.  Lots of Timmie's in London. This is not all.

They are always busy except when they are closed. 🍩🥪

Only in Canada? There are more than just these, certainly, but it will give you an idea...

BeaverTails (French: Queues de Castor)
It's amazing to consider that what is basically a flattened out, hole-free donut has become an emblematic Canadian snack. Resembling the tail of a beaver, these tasty treats are available with an array of toppings and fillings, served piping hot and oh-so delicious.

Nanaimo Bar
Featuring a gooey layer of yellow custard sandwiched between chocolate ganache and a coconut-graham crust, Nanaimo bars originated in the B.C. town before heading eastward until no region of Canada could avoid their deliciousness. The rest of the world doesn’t know what it’s missing.

Swiss Chalet (my favourite)
The Canadian barbecued chicken chain is only available to Canadians. While there were briefly some U.S. locations (in Buffalo, New York, and Puerto Rico), they've since shut down, so Swiss Chalet is all ours!

I know some about the frigid North ...

I was born in the 5th largest city in the US and then we moved to the 3rd largest before moving to "sunny" (yeah, right) Florida

Not to mention, my Dad was from Southern Colorado where is home was 7,600+ feet in elevation ... (actually, his family had an "upper place" and a "lower place" - with the upper one being over 8,500 feet ... and NO Power at all)

True Newfie news report.

"

Woman charged after stolen credit card used to buy winning lotto ticket: N.L. police
ST. JOHN'S, N.L. -- The joy over a big lotto win was short-lived for a Newfoundland woman now accused of using a stolen credit card to buy the lucky $50,000 ticket.
... As a result, a 33-year-old woman intent on picking up the jackpot was instead charged Thursday with two counts of possessing a stolen credit card and five counts of fraud.

Moose on the loose leads Newfoundland police to stolen vehicle

...The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to several calls Saturday night about the loose moose and

officers eventually found it, although it continually evaded capture.
Police say the animal passed through the city’s Rabbittown area before moving west,

then shifting south toward downtown St. John’s.
As officers followed it the moose passed by a vehicle police say had been stolen the night before.

Oblivious to the help it had provided law enforcement, the moose kept moving....

Port Moody car thief breaks into vehicle with bear hands

It’s lucky for some Port Moody residents that this thief didn’t bear arms.
No word on whether the bear faces charges of pawsession.
