One of the phrases that Zelensky said today at the UN

"Where is the security that the Security Council needs to guarantee? It's not there. Although there is a Security Council. So where is the peace? What are these guarantees that the United Nations needs to guarantee?", asked Zelensky

That zelensky speech, whoa...he was checkin off all the "boxes" thats for sure. Mentioning global peace (this did not sound like the typical un peace and security speech), no matter a countries financial or global power on the world stage we all must be equal, if a country needs help then they will help unitedly, international law, an EFFECTIVE united nations, "the power of peace must become dominant" "mankind has always dreamed of it", on and on he went.

Be right back putting my go bag at the side door haha!!! I hope this begins Jehovah's day!

What has happened demonstrates the utter failure of man to bring about peace to the earth.

It also shows how Satan controls depraved actions of people.

If he can't rule he'll bring ruin and suffering. We probably all feel like Habakkuk did as recorded in Chapter 1:2,3.

We can't wait for Jehovah to step in. But we know we have to. The cry of "pace and security" still is ahead plus other prophecies leading up to Armageddon.

I don’t think anyone here INTENTIONALLY searches out these types of videos, but they are shown on various news outlet sites, so anyone could view such videos unexpectedly.....my point was, that it is out there for all to see.

And I was not YELLING, as you accuse me of. Displaying a word in all caps represents EMPHASIS.

Feel free to share any articles from legitimate news agencies.  Heck, even rt.com is acceptable.

Thank you for letting me know. I have always understood capitilising to be shouting, but  boldunderlining or even a different colour being used for emphasis. Probably a different understanding in different regions.

Don't give up .. it's just around the corner.

The current war in Ukraine, following the Russian invasion, has sparked all sorts of questions about the United Nations, particularly the role of the Security Council, the General Assembly and the Secretary-General.

Since 1946, all five permanent members – widely referred to as the ‘P5’ – have exercised the right of veto at one time or another on a variety of issues. To date, approximately 49 per cent of the vetoes had been cast by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and thereafter the Russian Federation.............29 per cent by the United States, 10 per cent by the United Kingdom, and six per cent each by China and France.

Can a country’s membership in the UN be revoked?

...........

Unless they agree to their own expulsion or suspension, permanent Council members can only be removed through an amendment of the UN Charter, as set out in Chapter XVIII.

(bold highlighting is mine)

I wonder what a permanent member of the council has to do to get an amendment organised. Apparently war crimes and torture of innocent civilians and children is  not enough!

The inadequacy of this organisation is so obvious.

Don't give up .. it's just around the corner.

Like this has to play out to underscore , yet again, that human rule is a complete failure.  This will be resonating when the GT starts.

Tragically, today a weaponized Russian Orthodox Church in the soiled hands of Patriarch Kirill has no part in turning the prophet Isaiah’s swords into plowshares.  Rather, Putin’s captive Orthodox patriarch aggressively defends an indefensible, fratricidal war

BBC:  Russia suspended from UN Human Rights Council

Thank you :)

You are on the watch!

Now let´s see what kind of war escalation is expected in Ukraine... :(:(

Will this pave the way to further isolation of Russia in UN?

Will the veto powers be reformed?

Keep on the watch!

Russia remains a member of the United Nations - and as a permanent member with veto power in the Security Council, also one of the most powerful. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently accused the Security Council of failure in the Ukraine war and proposed Russia's exclusion from the Council as a solution - but this is virtually impossible under UN rules.

Yep, that's what I heard on a news report yesterday. I thought to myself......" maybe the UN will get so cranky at the pope, they'll come back at him with getting rid of him and religion at the same time" 🤣🤣🤣...

Just my impressions as a child of the cold war.

Hitting my teens as a worldling in the 80's I knew there was going to have to be a war with the Evil Empire(tm) and I was resigned to taking part.

Studying with the Witnesses from late '86 I saw our then understanding of Daniel that the Evil sorry KOTN was going to overflow many lands showing I was right all along about their being a war except the forces of Evil I mean the North were going to be victorious and I couldn't get involved (this worried me but Truth is Truth).

Then it started to unwind as I was getting into the ministry and baptised (89). Like many I couldn't believe it.

Some will remember the Eastern European Fund, where the organization realized the congregations in the newly liberated lands couldn't afford Kingdom Hall's and Branches so started raising funds to pay for these (a precursor to the current system). From it's start to finish I zealously supported this.

Later there was a Kingdom Ministry item meeting about the EEF, I commented about how I'd been all set to fight in Eastern Europe against Evil I mean Communism and how happy I was to help fund Halls rather than sending bombs. The brother on the platform looked at me and said "Boy, I'm glad you changed". In all of Ireland I'm probably the only one to come out with an O'D comment like that and he was a former member of the East German. Communist Party 😂😂😊

So by the early noughties it was becoming clear Russia was the new KOTN but he wasn't positively identified until he attacked Jehovah's people. Except now:

1) The North has gone from atheist left wing to religious hard right wing.

2) He's bombing where I used to think I might end up bombing.

3) Eastern Europe is rounding up the old Soviet equipment I was going to be facing and sending it to fight the old Soviet equipment that Russia has and I'd been going to face. (News yesterday has Czech republic sending old Soviet tanks to Ukraine).

There is a piece of the old me inside who is thoroughly baffled by all this.

Oh, last year I joined Twitter and was pegged as a left leaning Democrat supporter, I was a right wing Reagan supporter😂 (Don't worry, I'm all for Jehovah's Kingdom, this turn around shows how changeable the world's politics and ideologies are).

Sorry for long post.

Thing that interests me is that people are reacting to and demanding action against injustice. But come Gog's attack many of these same people will be supporting injustice, or they may just be keeping their heads down in terror. It's not going to be fun seeing how it works out but it will certainly be interesting.

They will approve of attacking innocents when the innocents are JW's.

That's the truth. While I appreciate the sincerity of most of the protestors none of them said a word when we were banned in Russia.

Can anyone tell if that’s the how do you view the future tract the lady is holding at 2:10?

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.
