  1. I never thought I’d feel this way, or say it. It’s almost too much for me to keep up with. FB gets a cursory glance, and, here, I read until my brain is chattering at me.
To be blunt, it is hard to keep up with our site, and keep on my toes, with studying and service.
Here, I just don’t have time to read it all. I suppose, eventually, I will, but not today!

Rest, Miss Bea darling, rest. It's true that at the moment we are bombarded with new things on the spiritual side but that will calm down... well, I do hope, otherwise I think the Great Crowd will end up being made up only of people under 40, those who still have legs to run behind the celestial Chariot.😘

  2. We have a storm moving in, from Ałaska.
The weather people are giving dire warnings. Lots of snow and wind. (Tornado like winds) Lots. We live on a hill. I cannot and do not drive in snow.
Iʼd already decided to Zoom the meeting tomorrow. We got notice this evening that the meeting will be Zoom, for all of us.
There is a group of 4 of us sisters who do hospitality. When scheduled. We are scheduled for hospitality this Sunday.
It’s iffy for me. They do not clear the snow off our roads. We are on our own. Sometimes we are snowed in for days.
Then someone from the tribe will show up. Either to check on us, or bring us supplies. Depending on how long we have been snow bound.
They come up, break tracks for us, then we can think about getting off the hill.
We are as prepared as we can be.

It is all in the attitude.

      Sweet Sister mine,

Be especially careful Sid and you, Miss Bea. I know you are, of course. It's just a stupid sentence to reassure myself. I love snow so much... but like all elements of nature, when they are unleashed or are confronted with human activity which mistreats them, they go a little crazy. I imagine that you are used to it so I hope that the habit will be there to reassure all our brothers and sisters in the area. And I think of all those who live around you and elsewhere in the world, who cannot possibly benefit from human and brotherly assistance...

One day comes and suddenly: paradise ❤️

      Let it come !

I will pray for you all in that area.  I hope like so many times in Oklahoma when they predict major storms it turns out not as bad as predicted.

  3. Husband: “I have two crowns on the back of my head”.

    Wife: thinking Thinking…

Wife: They are not, “crowns”, but, “cow-licks”.

Husband: “I donʼt call them, cow-licks. I call them crowns”.

    Thus begins my day…

  4. Old age can be challenging. Last friday, Sid and i were out scoping for rocks. Flat rocks for a walk way.
I spot, he does the rest of the chore. Its something we enjoy.

I was on flat groud. I did not pay enough attention to where to put my feet. (I had my walking stick, um, in the truck) The ground was flat, with a big rock here and there. Somehowʼ i lost my balance, started to fall, but blocked myself. (Big mistake.) Friends, I sprained my hip! As in, “sometimes a sprain is worse then a break”. Sid found he could not carry me. He moved the truck as close to me as possible. And, eventually, i was able to get in the truck.
But, i had to sit on the running board, (yes, we have one on the truck. It pops out when the door is opened. I sat on the running board, trying to catch my breathe, and was literally going in and out of consciousness, from the pain, as i sat there.
Got me in the truck, and, off to the hospital, some 2 and 1/2 hour trip.
I had mobility, but, very painful mobility.
I seriously prayed my hip was not broken. Really bad news for an 80 year old youngster!
An X-Ray and a CT scan later, nothing broken. My right leg was useless. We have crutches and a walker here at home. After falling a couple of times, i learned how to walk, sort of.
I am healing. Dr. says it will be a month, and, i will be my old,(old, old) self. I can walk, sort of dragging my leg along. I can get up and down the stairs. I’m still in pain, but I feel it’s manageable. (They gave me all sorts if medications. For pain, muscle spams, and inflammation, etc)

Iʼve Zoomed a couple of meetings. And, plan to go Sunday. The spasms are gone. Now it hurts, for the most time, just when i move.
Sid has been steller in taking care of meʼ, and doing everything in the house. I am being very good taken care of. And, i thank Jehovah for that fact.
I am constantly challenging myself. I move around, and do what i can. One gets really weak, fast, not moving around.
Watch out for falling, friends. I thought i was. Learned a lesson. I did.

I hope the pain has eased a bit now Bea and you're able to get around a bit better. Exercise is good but rest is also important for these cases so don't over tax your hip because it feels a bit better or you may set yourself back. I'm glad you have a wonderful Sid to look after you. Take care. Love, hugs and prayers from my home to yours.

  5. Grounding. I’m hanging in there, still. I can still rake leaves, and work in the yard. Barefoot.
I’ve made some adjustments. I have a pair of shoes that enable you to still, “ground”. I have sort of sissy feet. I take the dog for a walk in these shoes. And they are good for rock ground.
I also bought a grounding mat. I put it where my legs and feet are, in bed. No more restless legs. And my insomnia? It’s on the run. I get sleepy like normal people.
That means I go to sleep, early, (for me) and wake up early. (For me) And, no sleeping pills!
It’s been interesting. I’ve always believed that we fuss over ourselves too much. Weather wise.

I’m comfortable raking leaves, with the ground wet, and barefooted.
When it starts to frost, it will be another story.
I don’t dare my immune system. If I feel like some unhealthy thing is nagging at my system, I honor it. Generally with something to boost my immune system.
But, I’m really goi g to try to expose myself to the earth. It might get touch and go, as the winter plods along.
Sleeping and no more restless legs are just the two things I have noticed.
I suspect there are other things that I can’t quantify, happening to my body…
    Well worth it!

  6. Came upon a new word yesterday. “Mensch”. A brother and sister were in the cart work. They spend 45 minutes at the cart, and 45 minutes, striking up conversations at a nearby mall.

They came across a fellow that had lime green in his shoes. The sister commented, and, thus a conversation was started.

    He was a Jew.

The fellow apparently asked why they were dressed as they were. They explained they were Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a bit about our work. Jehovah’s Wittnesses? You people are, “mensch”.

If you look up that word, you will smile.

  7. Just got back from the assembly. As usual,  loved it. But one of the experiences…and from a dear friend. I donʼt remember which talk, but her experience. He unbelieving   husband husband is retired from law enforcement.
    (This happened years ago)
While she was out in the ministry, he came upon her car group. Turned his cop lignts on, pulled them over, and told her to get herself home.
    “Wheres the car?”

    “At the hall.”

“Well, go get it and come home”.
He has softened. I sat there at one of our quick builds, with him at our lunch table. (It was snowing, and he drove her to the quick build, with some of the food sheʼd prepared.)
There he sat. My heart was in a wonderous state.
Then, one time, I left my rig at their płace, (Assembły time) Itʼs white, and i live on a dirt road.)
    I brought it home, spotless.
Another time, i went to a wine tasting event on the coast. Came home to, yes, a washed car.

    I love on a dirt road…

That time the brother told me, “I couldnʼt wash your feet, so i washed your car”. The brother was an elder.

Yes, we live just this side of paradise.

  8. This happened yesterday. We are having heating problems at the hall. As the meeting started, here came a sister, with an electric blanket she had heated up for us three, (well, two), older sisters,  and gifted us with a warm blanket,  (it was a smaller blanket her son gifted her with)

And, there we sat, all toasty. With whatever we brougnt in the first płace to keep warm.
    Can it get any better?

What a thoughtful sister you have in your midst! May Jehovah keep you all tightly wrapped in his warm embrace especially in the coming winter months. The weather everywhere has been so brutal, we need to entreat Jehovah to watch over our vulnerable flock with a keen intensity.

For someone staying in the tropics (87 °C/31 °C) I know I would have been out of my mind, frozen sitting in an unheated hall. Keep warm and cozy, Sister Bea and co. Someone up there is always keeping a watch over our older sisters.

Update…Iʼve had insommia, litterally for years. Iʼve used pills, patches, chamomille tea. You name it. My brain just wonʼt shut down.
Wełł, last night, I had a unique experience. I actually got sleepy! Starting around 9 oʼclock.
I honored the feeling. Went to sleep around 10. (Last week, i was actually awake until 5 AM. And, ałmost did the same thing the next night) I tell myself, “If i can get 2 hours sleep, Iʼm okay)

Woke up early. 6:45, actually feeling good!
    Iʼm hooked!♥️♥️♥️

Miss Bea, I think you explain very well why you are insomniac: the brain that doesn't turn off, nothing to do. The body can be broken with fatigue, even on the verge of exhaustion, but the brain lives its life by tormenting this poor little body which cries for mercy. So when I read 'just two hours, please just two hours' my heart sinks a little, I sympathize. May Jehovah grant you the strength to endure this state which is visibly becoming chronic. I know he does it, I have confidence. But it still takes a lot of courage to endure. You have my thoughts and prayers, my Delicious. In this corner of my life, there are also insomniacs who live their best lives.

      https://www.healthline.com/health/grounding#benefits

There’s not much research on the benefits of grounding. However, people have reported improvement for conditions such as:

      • Sleep disorders. The massage therapists also experienced an improvement in sleep length and reduce sleep disturbances with grounding therapy.
      Spoiler

      image.png.c93de88e7f6ad3fb3f462370794ddec9.png

Grounding exercises include standing or walking barefoot or pressing your bare hands into the grass or dirt.

However, in modern Western society, it is not often that people want to or are able to walk outside barefoot unless they're at the beach. As a solution, grounding tools have been developed to provide the same electrical conduction as biological grounding. These include specialized:

      Mats

      Wrist or ankle bands

      Sheets

      Adhesive patches

      Footwear

To work, these tools are typically connected to the earth by a cord attached to a grounded electrical wall outlet or a rod pressed directly into the soil.

  10. Something totally precious happened at the meeting last night. It was during the wrap-up of the congregation book study. I was sitting there, big smile on my face, totally agreeing with the answer, being said. (We had only 16 there at the meeting).
The conductor, (whom I have a picture of him asleep in my arms at an assembly, long ago) called on me, and my hand wasn’t up.

I admitted I didn’t know the question, (laughter) and, yes, I managed an answer.  It was on how we can prepare for what’s coming up.

Some of biggest trials come our fellow believers in the faith .... just some of the many trials listed in the Bible

      Fiery Trials - anger..struggles, persecution

      Infirmities- physical limitations

Reproaches- Ridicule for our stand in the faith

Necessities- trying to make a living

      Distresses- Emotional scars, disappointments

Tribulations- extreme pressures and major challenges

      Temptations-lust, revenge

Paul lists most of the above in his life and his perspective on these issues.

2 Cor 12:9 "in order that the power of the Christ may remain over me like a tent" Jesus gets it, and covers us.

I think of Jesus telling his disciples that they would be sifted like wheat ....the poor little wheat kernel sure gets a threshing and a grinding but it comes out the end as fine flour....

Bea you are fine flour.... triple zero

Brother, you have no idea what this means to me. I’m still missing my brother, who is now in the heavens. He was a very dear friend, an elder, and my association with him has left an indelible mark on me, as a Christian.
He’d be the one I’d had have talked out all my feelings about this.
And, he would have kept me on the straight and narrow, if I wanted it or not. He was almost like a childhood friend.
I have a feeling I can’t even describe when I see that illustration with Christ and the 144,000. It’s almost like thinking about infinity. My mind swirls.
That’s almost how I feel today. My mind is swirling. It’s almost too much for me to take in. Wonderfulness.

      I thank you, kind brother!.

We all need an Abraham, a Lois, a Peter, a Sarah, a Jael ,a Rahab a Caleb etc in our life each one brings some gift to our life and in turn believe it or not…we do the same for others. I have met some great souls on this forum and it has expanded my list of faith inspiring brothers and sisters and you are one of them… your frank kind humanness is refreshing and comforting.

  14. I fell asleep during the meeting today. Not nodded off. Went to sleep! A good half an hour.
The WT Conductor came and checked on me. He said, “Good. I was worried about you being depressed”.
Several came and made sure I was okay. No comments from Bea today.
I was sitting next to a good friend. She said she got sleepy, and realized I was asleep, and had to stay awake to make sure I didn’t fall over.
Know how you feel refreshed after a nap? I was that asleep!
I’m thinking about old people. Yes, old people, and how I viewed them when I was younger.
Curious. Here I am. Next. b’day, I will be 80. My memory is touch and go. I’ve lost some of my strength, but, I still can work hard in the garden, and outside. I don’t pick my feet up as I should. (We have stairs. They remind me once in a while.)
And, wisdom? Got to think on that one?

(No, I did not snore. For which I’m thankful. I think my good friend would not have allowed that!

I fell asleep during a circuit assembly.  I was a teenager, so the CO giving the talk knew why I was asleep. Ironically, his talk was about staying awake in this system.  So I was awoken by the sound of this foot stomping loudly on the stage and him yelling in the mic, "WAKE UUUUPPP!!".  The audience was riveted, so it was part of his talk, but his eyes were locked on me.   After the assembly, I went and complimented him on his talk in an attempt to play it off and he told me, "I bet you won't fall asleep on anymore of my talks".  I don't know why I inspire CO's, DO's, and even members of the GB to act up around me, usually at my expense.  😂

  15. We just got a Tesla system, 2 batteries.  (The batteries a grant, plus 7 panels, we bought. We made 1.5 kWh from the solar.used 3.7 hours on the power wall , and .02 from the grid. 1.5 from solar and 2 kWh from the power wall. I think.if these numbers don’t drive me crazy. An app tells us what’s going on.
We  normally use 8 kWh a day for the house. The battery can make 8 kWh a day.
This makes sense, eventually. I think.

We can’t quite drive it around. The system is a part of the house.

We used .02% of a kWh yesterday.
I’ve been in a Prius electric car. The gages were astounding.
My husband now wants an electric truck. I support him. Regular gas is $5.09 at the cheap tribe gas station. A gallon. I think before this is over we will have to take up a collection to use our rigs.
It is the way it is.

  16. I would like to listen to, “Draw Close to Jehovah”. How can I manage that? Please.
I’m starting to recognize the talks from the conventions. (Though the last talk on Sunday never gets old!) The Dramas, been that way for years.
I lost my app that downloads the current WT’s, so I can’t automatically listen to them.
So, this, I want to be my next mental adventure!
Right now, I’m listening to the Dramatic Bible Readings. (I think these are my favorites)

I woke up to Noah preparing the ark, and all that entailed, Saturday morning.

I listen to the current postings on JW.org. But, that is a stopgap. I want to see them!
My mind does not behave like I want it to. I feel like I always need to have it busy. Always.
TV? Bad for me. Most of what my husband watches I’d reality shows. Gold Digging, Homestead Rescues, oh, and that vet show from Colorado.
I have to make myself try to actually watch it. (I at least want to be playing Scrabble on the iPad)

Oh, and I love listening to our current bible reading.
I’m retired, but my mind isn’t!

Oh, this is not impressive. It’s sort of how I keep sane!

In reality, it’s nervousness. I’ve been that way since I was a kid. (Sitting at the table, reading cereal boxes)

We didn’t have a lot, as a kid, but we did have a “How and Why”, set of books. Have you any idea how much I enjoyed them? I still can smell the pages. (We also had a beautiful set of encyclopedia, Britinnica(?) Untouched, as our house burned down. That was for our future.
    I also took piano lessons.

    Then my Dad died.
    I became an unwanted step-kid.

Can you imagine how much I am looking forward to that first hug?

The representative from headquarters came and delivered this wonderful talk based on this scripture.

Psalm 56:8 You keep track of my wandering.
Do collect my tears in your skin bottle.
Are they not recorded in your book?

      *** w08 10/1 p. 26 Tears in a Skin Bottle ***
...For that reason, there are many who, like David, are faced with emotional, mental, or physical suffering—especially those who are trying to please God. Does that describe you? With courage, “even weeping,” such faithful people never stop trying to live a life of integrity. (Psalm 126:6) They can be assured that their heavenly Father sees not only the trials they face but also the emotional impact of those trials. He truly understands the pain afflicting his servants, and he compassionately remembers their tears and sufferings, figuratively storing them up in his skin bottle.

Does anyone recall a talk by brother Sydlik about avoiding hazards that lie beneath ... I want to say, below the figurative water's surface?

I really enjoy these older talks too. Especially enjoyed seeing Dan Sydlik at our District Assemblies a few years ago.

  18. Is anyone out there as sick of snow as I am? Zoom meeting tomorrow, and grateful for it!

I'm not, but we do have a few out due to Covid. In fact, a neighboring congregation had cancelled 3 in-person meetings and had them over Zoom because Covid was spreading around a huge part of that congregation. They wanted to do their part to try and stop it from spreading among the friends.

Well were I am at the snow started Nov 15 and hasn't left yet...probably another 2-4 weeks before it is gone.. the temperature has been above freezing during the day but drops to below freezing at night.

I don't mind too much the days are nice and bright and no overcast... spring will come and then I can get my hands in the soil and start my garden....We have about 75 percent now at in person meetings which is great I get to see everyone again...

Hang in there ...this too will pass.

  19. Well, it happened. Our dear brother died. It was like he was a part of my DNA. I’m full of cherished memories. And so grateful.

His dear wife can start to heal. Jehovah just had his arms around her. He had cancer all over. I can still hear him saying, “I have a cough worse than Bea Nix.” (I’m known for a dramatic cough of unknown origin)

He was a center of our congregation. I told his wife, “He grounded me”. And, that he did!

Add to broken hearts, he was of the anointed. Talk about conflicted. We knew we’d loose him, but just how.

This is a special, unique thing I may never experience in my life again. And, yes, Jehovah will help us all to heal😓

  20. Help. My last post, and this is typed, using a keyboard on my iPad, less then 2 inches square. I don’t know how it happened, and I can’t undo it!🤪

How to make your iPad keyboard full size. Place two fingers on the floating keyboard. Spread your fingers apart to enlarge the keyboard back to full size.

Oh my goodness. Thank you, thank you! I’m in business again. That was a pain!

It worked! It was so simple I’m a tad embarrassed!

  21. We are back to our wonderful Wednesday, after service, lunches. For me, they have changed a bit. I’m soon to be 79. The tribe brings us lunch, and dinner, on Wednesday’s.
So I, no cook, on Wednesdays.
I used to bring a main dish. Well, now, I bring myself, and something interesting to drink. Yesterday, I brought milk(whole) and Aztec Hot Chocolate.
One of our dear sisters came in, spied the hot chocolate, and, put it in her coffee! The hot scale. She registered it a 7. It’s actually a 3.

    We have such fun!

  22. Okay. We don’t brag, except in Jehovah. I recognize that. We are a small congregation. Right now, probably less then 30 active publishers.
Went in service this morning. (This community is suffering right now, maybe directly, from forest fires, or indirectly, from smoke from the forest fires. Lots of us have air purifiers going right now)

(You know me, back to my initial thought)

This morning in service, maybe 10 or so, we had a sister from Ireland, a sister, in France, and a brother, originally from Angola, but, now in France. And, our cohost, eventually, is a very dear brother in Brazil.
I know how this chain of events happened, that we just get bouquets from Jehovah, in the form of his international people.

    Our little congregation❤️♥️💜

Oh, it looks like I’m suffering from, “stable angina”. The clinic is doing wonderful things for me. The nurse i talked to yesterday, (Doing all I can to avoid that ambulance) did not know my face, but he trained the staff to do my job, when I retired.. In the middle of this mess,   It was so good to hear, “Your the one that kept the clinic open for many years.”

I think he thinks I’m more educated then I am. I didn’t bother to tell him, “all I have is a driver’s license”. No formal medical training at all.
But he listened to me, I’m going to do what they would do if I went to the hospital. A stress test. STAT.
It’s wonderful to know the ones taking care of you medically, actually know and care about you as an individual.

I don’t have symptoms today. I had nitroglycerin here. Outdated, but unopened. I took two pills,(as directed) and, lo and behold, here I am, today.
One thankful person. Who loves Jehovah and, you dear friends, very much💜♥️❤️

It is so nice when you have a medic who treats you with respect and consideration.  Also delighted that you know what the problem was and how to treat it when it flares up going forward.

I'm going to miss the international flavour of our FSG from next month but hopefully we'll continue to enjoy them to an extent. Keep yourself hydrated and take care of your breathing too with the fires.  Agape.

    2. Miss Bea

      Miss Bea

      I think, somehow we will.

Jehovah knows what it has meant to lots of us.

There will be those who stay on Zoom, for various reasons.
Zoom allows them to go in the ministry, to the best of their ability.
That has meant a lot, a lot.

  23. I have been on an adventure. I fell out of bed. Yes, a curious thing. As my head hit the floor, the angle was so precarious I was thankful my neck didn’t break. That’s what I thought as my head hit the floor. Not good.
Later in the day, in front of 3 people, I flat out fainted. As in, standing up one moment, on the deck the next. My head got another, “bonk”.
Merited me a trip, out town, in an ambulance. An hour and a half sojourn.
Sort of pathetic situation. No hospital rooms here. Three hours away, east, or south. And, they would have sent me! If I needed a hospital room.
Got all my tests, and I apparently looked better, cause the doctor said I could go home. According to hospital records, grim. They are ruling out heart failure, breast cancer, and a hiatal hernia. (With a surgeon running around with a scalpel in his hind pocket, drumming up business.)
My theory, (bit of a learning curve here, albiet, a tad late in the game.) The doctor that called the ambulance on me started, unceremoniously quizzing me on my, um, water intake. I had a hard time scrounging up a glass, the day before. That, with a tad of stress, and, I was out for the count.
I’m getting all sorts of tests to eliminate the dire things. But I have my suspicions, as my doctor does. We agree.  He’s doing his best to keep me alive, and, so far, pretty good.
Anyhow, I’m feeling pretty good. Getting my strength back. And, um, drinking at least 6 glasses of water.

    Drink plenty of water!

It seems the older folk often forget to drink water

I had a bit of a twist on the chronic dehydration issue.   I had stepped up drinking H2o after major surgery at 40 yrs old.   I started drinking half my weight in ounces of water a day.   At first my recovery was amazing but over time I developed a persistant lack of focus and this new thing "fibromyalgia".    Fibromyalgia was a beast!  I ached in every imaginable way and finally was so lacking in focus I could not drive or remember how to do my job.  This went on about 10 yrs! (maybe longer...)   One day when researching water filters I saw the Watercure site and as I perused the info I noticed how Dr Batman always included the salt (preferably a natural unprocessed one).   Hmmm.... after 30 years of salt restriction could some of my problem be the chronic trust in Drs and medical media?   When I added his advised amount of salt to my water regime the miracles started happening!   lol

Yes, I could not recall just how much I was drinking these days so I would fill the requisite bottles and line them on my counter each morning with my little salt jar and when emptied (before evening!) I was done.   I actually carry salt with me now!  Sometimes you got to have tricks to get things done!!

Hopefully all your other tests are as easily figured out Miss Bea!   I'll be 70 this year and my  hubby just was 74 and we are still big advocates of the simple gift of water and salt and pray, almost nightly now, that everyone has enough H2o as the news sounds frightful for the family of man.

  24. The tribe is doing rehab on a house my husband built. It’s been just wonderful. The carpenters that are working on the house do not realize, this is the work of my husband, and, it is next to art work. This place is not pretentious, but, what’s here, nice.
Sid is fussing about wanting to do the window trim, himself. I told her he was just adding to his workload.
Then I told him, “Here's my plan. You tell them you want to do the trim, then you come into the truth, so you can live forever. And finish your list”.
He said, “I don’t think so, Bea, I don’t know how you got that way.
I said, “Holy spirit, Sid, Holy spirit.
He stepped out of the conversation at that point!

Sad, but that's the way of it. We can pray. ❤️

  25. I almost feel like I need to do a, “check-in”, and reassure you dear friends, “I have not lost it”.  Well,  or lost it all. We have been in the process of the Tribe, “rehabbing”, or house, or um finishing certain aspects of it. Big huge job.

It has been pretty well going on since January 3rd, this year. And, it has not been, “smooth sailing”. That red cedar floor downstairs now has been done twice. The first time, a less then stellar job.
Plus the rest of it. It was a big job, and the first crew we had up here flat out left when my husband said it needed a third coat. We had to somehow get them to do that second coat, and thought it was a big gift to us. Plus, they used one of those, cylinder sander. And, wherever he stopped, there was a dip in the floor.
Bottom line, it not only got a sealer coat, but four more coats of the stuff. It’s beautiful. They kept it natural, with grain still there

    There is more like this…

Everything was in my Zoom room. In fact, both of my Zoom rooms. I had two rooms I could use.
In the meantime, us and three cats were living upstairs. (We now have a bathroom, upstairs)

We could not go over the floor downstairs, so we used the door that eventually will be a back exit. Right now, it goes to the top of the washroom, and to a bank, about 4 feet from the top of the washroom floor. The bank.
We used two planks to get to the bank. And, then a sketchy trail down the hill. I had to use something to make sure I did not tumble down the hill. Walking stick.
The floor is now cured, and we will start getting some order in this house.
Basically we have been living in one room, (the bed room) with a newly installed upstairs bathroom, that is functional.
My husband has lost his hearing aids, so he watches, very loud television. News, if you can call it that.
No room for Zoom, until today.
I’ve gotten to all the meetings, and managed to prepare pretty well. (When my husband was out, doing whatever.
His wonderfully intelligent golden lab, (a rescue) killed on of our cat. I still can’t talk about that.
We are trying to get him into a, “no-kill” shelter. They will get

$100.00 when they take him. Yes, we are bribing!
I’ve been cooking outside. Let’s not talk about that either.
My sanity has been prayer, personal study, and the meetings. I did miss two weeks service.

Its almost over. With the work they are doing on the house, that one was most dreadful. And, it’s all but over.
So, perhaps I should not have posted during this trauma. But I did. Maybe I will get my wits back now

    Thank you for being there.❤️💜❤️

      Bea,

It is stressful enough living in Satan's septic system of things WITHOUT having to be subjected to the additional stress of a remodel.
